TORO Lawn Striping System

My son requested this for his birthday! He has a huge front lawn and wants it to look like a ball field! Only he was truly disappointed that the need for ‘fine’ sand was not listed as a requirement. He was excited to use it when it arrived, saw it needed sand, went to Ace Hardware, but their sand was not fine enough. The opening for a funnel is small. So he ordered fine sand from Amazon, filled it, and now is in business! He is very happy with the results!!

This striping kit will make a good lawn great and a great lawn look like Augusta National. Super easy to install, easy to use and the results are stunning. I don’t know how I lived life without this.

Works great, easy to install on you Toro mower. Very hard to fill with sand!!!! The fill hole should be bigger so sand flows into the roller. Overall very happy!!! Nicest yard in my neighborhood!

Love, love, love!! I have been striping just about everything in the yard. Easy to fill with DRY sand and a funnel. I got a bag of play sand, which was very moist, poured the sand into an unused kiddie pool, and put the pool in the sun to dry out the sand. Filled the striper with the dried sand. Works perfectly!

Leaves beautiful stripes in lawn. The entire neighborhood stops by now and asks if I’ll cut their lawn! Was tricky getting enough sand in to make lines visible. The more sand you can get in the roller the more defined the stripes will be but overall it is well worth it!

hook that holds roller to roller frame is constantly bending and requires me to pull the hook off, hammer it back into shape, and reinstall. a bit of a PITA. Stripes are awesome though and my neighbors yard looks like hammered dog sh!t next to mine. Bingo.
