I’ve used this gold leaf multiple times for caterings. I highly recommend it. My niche is dietary restrictions so I try to source products firstly that are actually edible. You’d be surprised how much “gold” flakes or luster dust for cakes isn’t actually gold out there and tests positive for lead. The other thing is I have many celiac, vegan, and other clients that require their food to be kosher and halal. I make sure that everything I purchase is high quality. - Chef Linda Gonzalez

These were the perfect size for my Wagyu steak. Just handle them carefully as they stick to fingers very easily. I applied them with tweezers but I recommend applying them with the back sheet it comes with. Much easier!

I was the best man for my friends' wedding. Now they are celebrating their GOLDEN 50th anniversary. They live in the South and I live in Western New York where fruits and vegetables are fresh & bountiful. I send them canned fruits. jams and pickles every year ... and thought what a hoot to send Gilded Pears for the Golden Pair! Read the reviews ... they are "spot on" about a novice trying to "apply" this stuff..(which is really beautiful). I am always up for trying something, a challenge or experiment with food. I tried one and realized the deal. I could cut the foil into "stripes"... apply to the pear... get it in a pint jar... but the minute hot liquid was added, the foil came off and floated around just as you see in the Goldschlager liqueur. Another time when a great idea and reality bring on the crash of what to do next. I filled the pear cores with candy decorating hearts and processed for 20 minutes. I have attached the photos so you can see the end result... I still think it will be an awesome , unexpected gift.

Muy buen producto aunque engañoso el tamaño. Lo compre para un menú degustación y la verdad es que le ha dado un toque de calidad al postre increíble. Si bien es cierto que en las fotos las láminas parece que son muchos más grandes que en la realidad (son poco más que un sello) ha sido una cantidad suficiente para decorar 20 postres por lo que el coste no ha sido elevado. Una muy buena opción para hacer algo distinto sin pagar esas millonadas que se ven por platos que llevan este producto

Bonne qualité, pour autant que l'on puisse en juger à l'usage. Utilisé dans le cadre d'un petit bricolage en bois où je voulais dorer quelques parties par collage, résultats satisfaisants.
