Do you need to use a ground cable to stop the buzz

The buzz will be coming from whatever you are feeding into the switcher you may need to ground that unit whatever it is

I have an amplified speaker with one aux input. I want to be able to plug in a chromecast audio and a laptop and switch between the two..will this do?

I have mine split to my 5.1 dolby speakers and head phones and it works well.

Can I have my wired headset with boom mic as the input and switch its connection between my PC and my work lap top?
