LiNKFOR 3.5mm Audio Switch Bi-Directional Stereo Selector with Volume

Lovely simple little audio splitter. I use this in a simple studio monitoring setup to select audio output (from my computer) to either speakers or headphones. Before this one, I've had to replace lots of such switch boxes over the years. Some of them looked a lot cooler. However, this one actually works properly and keeps going. The volume switch is crystal clear although it is a little bit all-or-nothing. Satisfying push button for channel switch and another for mute. Never any crackle or pops. You can probably get cheaper versions of this, but honestly, why bother? - they're crap. Buy this one instead :)

Two audio mixers/interfaces - one set of speakers. Hmm... Using this little gizmo sorted my problem. Plug both mixers into the back of it using 3.5mm jacks and then one 3.5mm jack out of the front into the speakers. Sorted. Works great - first time. No problem. Has a built in volume control which is handy so I don't have to turn to the mixer. Sound quality is good - no discernible interference or reduction in audio quality when playing. Unit is robust - made from steel and has a solid quality about it. Happy purchase.

Although all inputs say in and out, it wouldn't let me plug input and output on the back, I had to use the front and back ports, it works without no noticeable loss of audio, the only criticism I have is I wish the volume control was a bit more sensitive as it can go from off to a bit above what I want as it seems to lack the stages, so it seems 0 to 15% instead of being sentive to every increment. (I'm being fussy) I believe this device will work flawlessly for most people, great buy, very happy!

I have only had this for two days and tried it out with a little trepidation after reading a very few negative reviews regarding sound- but the alternatives had even more negative reviews. Anyway, this impressed from the moment I opened the box. It is a solidly made little device. It does nothing to the sound - what you put in, you get back out - exactly what is required. There is no buzzing or hissing that some have reported, just clean sound. My PC is the sound source "IN" and my speakers and my headphones are the sound "OUT". The mute button is good if I get a phone call and need to stop the sound quickly. The switch switches cleanly and easily between my speakers and my headphones (my primary reason for getting the switch). I would say, as others have suggested, that the volume switch is not graduated as evenly as I would ideally like - but it turns the volume from off to full - the intermediate points on the switch do not have to be mathematically exact! So far, I can highly recommend it. 2026 UPDATE - In constant use, 2 years on, and still performing as per my original review.

The product seems to be well made & sturdy. it comes with a 1m male to male 3.5mm aux lead with braided coating. I am reviewing the 1 to 2 / 2 to 1 version. I use the switcher to output one of two inputs (TV & music streamer) into the aux port of a radio. I find no difference in audio quality between going through the switcher & using a direct aux lead connection to each input device. I definitely can't hear any background hum / hiss from either input & I am quite fussy with things like that. I looked at other similar switches, but I went for this one due to the mainly positive reviews & the fact that it has its own volume slider button & mute button. The volume slider allows for fine tuning of the volume going into the output device & I have found that the switch works best with my radio at about 75%. The only thing on the switcher I would change would be the location of the input & output ports. They are located on opposite sides & I think that in terms of ergonomics, it would make more sense if they were either on the same side, or on adjacent sides at 90 degrees to each other. I had to buy some aux leads with "L" shaped plugs to connect up the switcher & make it look a bit neater.

A simple two-to-one 3.5mm audio switch in a nicely-engineered black box. Good solution for a simple physical switch between speakers and headphones with all essential features: button to switch between output 1 or 2, a mute button, and a volume knob. All these physical controls are fine. The included audio cable is a nice little extra and is of good quality. Note that this is a passive switch - it does not provide amplification for speakers or headphones. So you need to think how to use it best in your audio stream. In many use cases the passive on-unit volume dial won't be enough to compensate for the different volume output of, say, powered speakers and non-powered headphones. It can after all only cut out sound not boost it. In practise for cleanest sound it might be best to just leave the volume dial always at full and set headphone levels to that with the powered speakers at zero volume then turn up the powered speaker level at the speaker end when they are used. But in summary does what it says with a good audio performance.

Great cheap little inline selector but it does drop the signal level a fair amount. Turning the volume up to max introduces cracking and white noise. Useful if you just want to switching audio sources for gaming/music but not so much for anything else.

did just the job i needed it for! I wanted to be able to use my PC speakers for both PC & iPad (play music while i work on the iPad) & be able to switch between the 2 when needed (for teams calls etc) instead of using my bluetooth speaker for the iPad & having to charge it daily! side note: I bought a splitter cable for the iPad that has both headphone & charger holes in so i can keep that charging whilst music is on! In summary the build appears solid, with no connection issues / audio drop & switches inputs perfectly. All in all great value for money!

Das sauber verarbeitete Metall Gehäuse ist nicht zu klein, verfügt über ein ausreichendes Eigengewicht und Gummifüße und ist damit gegen lästiges Verrutschen geschützt. Der Klang wird durch den Umschalter nicht beeinträchtigt. Störendes Brummen gibt es nicht. Zusätzliche Stromversorgung ist nicht erforderlich. Ein Audiokabel ist im Lieferumfang enthalten. Damit ist der Anschluss schnell und unkompliziert möglich.

Cumple su función , Tengo altavoces y auriculares en el ordenador y encima puedes regular tambien un volumen por el aparato. Si necesitas altavoces y auricuales en un ordenador es la mejor opcion. Recomendado !

I am using this audio switch/volume control to attach either a Bluetooth receiver or audio from a monitor headphone jack to an amp and speakers. The unit works perfectly with no loss of audio quality. I am using high quality audio cabling and I am not experiencing any audio hum, buzzing or distortion as mentioned in some of the ratings. Quality of this unit is excellent for my application.
