Nice heavy duty extension cord. Thick, but not so thick you can't handle it.

Durable and very well made. As a retired firefighter I’m leery of cheap electrical accessories, particularly extension cords. Thick insulation, strong connections between the jacket/wire and the male and female plugs are generally good indicators of quality. However any extension cord that is misused or not cared for can cause a tragedy. I put cheap extension cords right up there with cheap parachutes. Both are unwise choices.

UPDATE: We have be using the two Yellow Jacket cords, 25ft and 50ft, outdoors with power tools, for almost a year, 3-4 times a week. They are high quality, durable and still appear brand new despite heavy use (See photo.). Highly Recommended! This high quality extension cord can be called full-sized in that it has a 15 amp plug, and can safely carry 15 amps. It is best used for 15amp to 8 amp appliances, such as heaters, pressure washers and other large power tools. I always use it on my pressure washer to maintain an adequate voltage level. The lighted end is an indispensable feature that most cords don’t have. This very well-made extension cord is a good value for the money. I also purchased a Yellow Jacket 50’ extension cord at the same time, to be used for different purposes. The longer 50’ cord is also of high quality and is a good value for the money. Enjoy! Durable and really thick, perfect for the generator and heavier use electrical items. Durable outdoors, currently using it for an inflatable hot tub.
