Alfa Network APA-M04 2.4GHz 7 dBi high gain directional indoor panel antenna with RP-SMA connector

It even picks up signal my normal phone/laptop cannot pick up

Es una antena de panel de 7 dBi, compacta (del tamaño de la palma de la mano), con conector RP-SMA. Ojo que está diseñada para 2.4 GHz. Al ser de panel, está pensada para emitir perpendicularmente al panel, por el lado del logotipo "ALFA", entiendo que con polarización vertical (según leemos las letras). Es importante orientarla hacia el router teniendo en cuenta todo esto, pues es muy directiva (cosa que es buena: p. ej. es menos sensible al WiFi del vecino). Una vez orientada correctamente (ha sido fácil) me da un enlace perfecto (según mi adaptador, "Link Quality=100/100 Signal level=100/100 Noise level=0/100") teniendo el router dos habitaciones más para alla, atravesando dos paredes.

I have a large directional and I also have two Yagi antennas. If I attach two yogis and my panel antenna to my alfa1900 then turn around and remove those and attach only this to the alpha 1900 I will get a better signal out of the one of these then I will the three of those. These turned out to be a real gem for long range communication on a dime or budget. Trust me don't get this tall army directionals they just add noise to the signal and don't waste your money on too many of the panel antennas when this is a pain in the but it works well due to the very short run of pigtail they have to have work to work. Amazing results in performance you won't be disappointed.
