Havent even tried the warranty, bought more because they earned my money.
Bought a two pack when I got my phone, after two weeks, I managed to chip the top edge of the protector, was too lazy to replace it as it didn't affect the screen. about four months in, shattered the protector in about 5 places when I forgot my phone was in my packet and accidentally used it as a pad between my hip and a packing crate while I crawled over it. The entire protector was removed in about 5 minutes, which is impressive when one considers it was half powder. The screen was perfect, so I slapped the second one on and left it at that. I cracked number two about a month in, just ignored the 2 hairline cracks that crossed the screen for a few months, until it finally chipped in the center of the screen. I am typing this through the first protector from the second pack I bought. So why, if I've killed two of these, am I writing a positive review? My phone screen is perfect, no scratches, no blemishes, no dead pixels, and I have dropped it screen down on rocks twice this week, which is, for me, an easy week on the phone. All this being said, there are a lot of reviews saying the screen protector is too small for the phone. This seems true at a glance, as two millimeters or so of the face of the phone are uncovered on all sides of the screen protector. Upon closer inspection, this is because there is a slight curve at the edges of the display, for which a protector manufacturer is left with 4 reasonably viable solutions: first, make a protector that covers the entire face, and just doesn't fit tightly over the edges. This creates the obvious problem of dust getting into the adhesive, and needing the protector replaced every two weeks. Secondly, a film screen protector could be used. There are companies that make them, and they work okay, but the best "self healing" screen protectors look terrible after 2 months and provide protection only against scratches. Third is to make molded glass that fits securely over the entire pane of the original screen face. These would cost at least 50 dollars each, and 1 in 5 probably wouldn't fit right, even assuming you could get through the nightmare of positioning it right without messing up the adhesive. Thankfully, our fear manufacturer went with the fourth option: make a flat pane which fits securely over the flat portion of the screen, and bevel the edges for user comfort. This works out great after a bit of acclimation time. Overall, this product has been interesting in that it didn't meet my expectations (chipped in 2 weeks? Come on.) but has proven to be worthy of a five star review because it still worked beautifully. If you believe the job of a screen protector is to protect your screen, even at the cost of breaking, then this product is for you. If you want a screen protector that will outlast the screen under it, look elsewhere.

Durable and slick, easy installation
Before I go into this review, I want to put this out there: HTC, making the edges of your screen glass curved was a questionable decision at best.OK! So, here's the deal: because of the curved glass edges, screen protectors can only do so much. You've got your soft plastic full screen protectors, which go edge to edge and cover everything from scratches but won't help much against hard impacts or drops, and don't mesh well with cases that come up over the lip of the phone. Then you've got these tempered glass protectors, which can only really cover the display screen and touch buttons and cannot go edge to edge because of the curved glass (the rigid tempered glass can't conform to the curved edges and will eventually come off,) but they protect very well against hard impacts and cases with raised lips won't interfere with them. This particular screen protector covers the entirety of the display screen, the buttons on the bottom, and most of the glass above the screen. I have a case with a raised lip that comes up over the edges of the phone, so there's a 1.5mm gap all the way around the screen between the protector and the case. If it gets scratched, it won't interfere with the display or the buttons, and between the raised tempered glass and the raised lip of the case, I'm not concerned about anything striking that small edge hard enough to do any damage. The other thing I'd like to note is that tempered glass screen protectors are not invulnerable. If you drop something on your phone or drop your phone on something, the screen protector may break. But that's significantly better, and way cheaper, than your phone screen breaking. I would rather replace a relatively cheap protector than a $600 phone, even with insurance. So far, this protector has not cracked or broken through several clumsy drops onto hard flooring, so it's pretty tough. It feels great too; not so thick that it interferes with the touchscreen sensitivity, and no oily or grippy plastic feel. It doesn't attract fingerprints or oil residue, and it cleans really well.I used the hinge method (video link is in the instructions - lengthy to explain, very easy to understand once you see it) to put this protector on and it worked like a charm on the first try. Take your time with it, because it's worth doing right the first time.
