Spy Gear - Ultra Range Walkie Talkies (2)

Great quality Walkie Talkies with far distant range. My 4 and 5 year old have a little bit of trouble figuring out that you have to push the button in to talk and let it go to listen, but that is just a learning curve for their age. So far they have withstood their rough boy play and they still work, so that is a plus! Even mom and dad can use these when separated to communicate from one end of the house to the other ;) "Honey, foods done!" or "Come help me, kid down!" Works for all occasions and fun.

I bought this for my grandson for his 6th birthday. His mom said it has worked out well. He and his friends have fun playing with it throughout the house. I'm not sure if they have used it outside yet as not warm enough. He plays with it in conjunction with his Backyard Safari toys, a big hit when he has friends over.

These are great! I purchased these Walkie Talkies for my 2 and 7 year old kids to place with in our house. The one button push is easy enough for my 2 year old to use. The signal is very clear without any static interference. They have dropped them on the tile on accident multiple times without any damage. I would highly recommend these for anyone looking for reliable and simple walkies for in home play.

These simply do not work. Cannot get a clear signal no matter what channel, how close or how far, or inside or outside we're trying. Plan to return and get a refund. Disappointing $42 spent and I'm not likely to try same brand again.

Good clear units when in close range & at neighbour's. But not when I went 1km down road. Product says up to 3 km range-does this take buildings/structures in the way into account I wonder.

I bought these for my 5 yr old boy. They are decent quality but do not work up to 2 miles!!! I went to the corner store about 1000 ft down the road with one and tried to communicate with my son and he did not hear me or vise versa. My wife was there and said she didnt hear me eithier. Battery wherw brand new lithium's so it wasnt a power problem. If you want range i dont recommened this product but good backyard fun.

My kids decided to spend their allowance on walkie talkies. After checking out numerous walkie talkies they settled on the Spy Gear Ultra Range Walkie Talkies. They haven't stopped using them since they arrived!Each of the walkie talkies takes 3 AAA batteries (not included), but since we have kids we have a stockpile of batteries.As soon as the batteries were in, these walkie talkies were put to use: in the house, out of the house, all around the yard. All I hear now is chatter through the walkie talkies. If one of the kids misplaces a unit, it's a disaster.The walkie talkies have three channels, an off switch and volume. It's really all they need. There's a belt clip so they can carry them around hands free, but you need to press the buttons to operate them.Overall, this is a fun toy that has been picked up and used every day since it arrived.

I got these for my eight year old who's pretty sure she's a spy already. They are fun to play with even if we end up talking at the same time. My kids don't always get that we can't talk at the same time. ha! I super love them though, because I have started sending them with my daughter to school, and once she's halfway home I can hear her perfectly and have a little peace of mind for that last leg of the walk.
