Wild Planet Spy Gear Spy Video ATV-360

My 9 year old loved this. Played with it for 5 or 6 hours on christmas day. Neighbouhood kids agree it was great. Batteries started fading at the end of the day. Its durable and fun. Not something you use all the time. My kid now only gets it out every now and then.... but he enjoys it when he does. Was worth the fun even if novelty doesnt last too long. Totally recommend for a present -specially if you are going to be around and get to see kids use if for the day.We got it on half price sale.

My 9yo son had asked for this ATV for months and months and I finally found a great deal on Amazon because I could not afford the original asking price nor the price at the local "Mart" store. Amazon had an awesome Black Friday deal and I purchased it hoping my son wouldn't be disappointed with the quality. He loves playing with it and drives it all over the house checking-out what is going on! It moves well over all "terrains" of the house (hard wood, carpet, linoleum) and responds well to the control buttons. The 360 degree scan button makes the ATV do a complete circle to view the room quickly and both of my sons love that feature. When I asked him if there was anything he'd make better about the toy, he said he would change the view finder from black and white to color, but that is not a reason that either one of us would return the toy. I'm happy because he likes it and I got a great deal. The only other down-side is that it takes 12 batteries, but we use rechargeables, so that isn't a huge problem for me, but may be for some. We have only had it for one month, so I cannot accurately reply to the question of durability, but so far, so good. All in all, a fun toy.

I had told my son that Not in a Million Years would he get this toy! Well, God had other ideas! This toy really does work. It almost works too good! We had to put restrictions on where he could use this ATV.One downside of the toy is this: While the toy is moving you can't hear. There is an ear piece that allows you to hear what is going on, but while the ATV is moving it some how effects the sound and you can't hear anything. However, you can still see while it is moving.It's fairly durable as far as the ATV itself. You have a huge antennae sticking up and that is not durable. You do have to be careful with that part.The other draw back is the number of batteries it takes. It takes a ton of batteries, so be aware of this one point.Trust me, YOU will love this ATV; never mind your kids!!

I didn't want to give my Grandson another video game. I googled cool gifts for a 10 year old boys and it suggested many items, but this toy sounded like great fun. He took the car out to the park and spyed on squirrels and ducks. I didn't expect this toy to have the benefit of getting him outside, but he loved it and my mission of getting him away from his video games was accomplished. Also, the toy arrived a day early. Well worth the money.

This was a birthday present for my son. He searched the amazon website and found this. I wouldn't have purchased this based on previous reviews, but since this was his top pick I ordered it. At first he liked it. He could wear the spy piece over his eye and see what the vehicle was seeing. He didn't like the black and white picture or picture quality very much. The vehicle stopped working after a couple of days, so we assumed the batteries needed to be replaced. We went out and purchased 12 rechargeable batteries, and it still didn't work. So we tried 12 regular batteries and it still didn't work. Now we sent it back, which was a big hassle. Hopefully I'll get my money back. This is a poor quality product. My son played gently with this for only a couple of days. This was a major disappointment for his birthday, and he doesn't want another. He wants a different product, and this time, I told him it needs to be highly rated.

Not impressed. The video is black and white and doesn't work well at all when you are controlling the tank. It flickers and makes it hard to see and hear unless the vehicle is completely stopped. The kids thought it was more fun than I did at first. But then the left side of the tread quit working intermittently so it would only turn in big circles. Now my kids have gotten it out again, and the sound and video no longer work at all. So we haven't even had it a year, they've played with it half a dozen times, and it's going in the garbage.Asked the boys what they thought:8-yo Review:"Well it was pretty cool at first but then it turned out that the sound and video wasn't working because I hadn't played with it in a long time."6-yo Review:"I just think it's crappy."

I purchased this toy for my 8 1/2 year old grandson for Christmas.He liked it initially but lost interest as the sound pick up did not workat all. It was just static, and the visual aspect was not very clear.It appears to be just a very expensive manually controlled battery car.If I had known this I would not have spent almost $250.00 with taxand shipping and would not recommend this toy. It is worth about $60.00.

My son really wanted this for Christmas and out of all the toys he received, he played with this the most. He loves it! It's really age appropriate for age 8 and up. It's durable and worth it for the price paid on Amazon. I would recommend. The only draw back, if one - is that the video feed is in black and white and not color. Also, the audio feed only works when the tank isn't moving...but I think that's reasonable. However, my son doesn't seem to mind the two points above. The tank when it moves does look really cool.
