Eagle Lights 5.75 inch LED Headlight Kit for Honda VTX with Bracket and Hardware - Plug and Play fits 2002-2008 VTX 1800, VTX 1300

The only thing not great about this is there is no way to adjust the aim of the light. The positioning screws are part of the original light that is removed to install this. I'm playing with it trying to shim it to point a LITTLE bit lower, but it's not easy. Other than that, I love it.Suggestion to anyone contemplating buying this - don;t spend the extra money for the black reflector. It's definitely black, but absolutely not noticeable. If I were to re-purchase it, I'd stay with the standard and save the extra money.

When I first bought my VTX I upgraded from the OEM headlight bulb to an LED bulb. It was an improvement but it was kind of tricky to install because of the power supply box that came with it. I ordered this Eagle Daymaker in hopes that it would improve my high beam distance since I ride 50 miles to work in the dark. I cannot testify to the high beam issue, but I can say that this thing is very easy to install. Literally, plug and play.

I ride a 2005 Honda VTX 1300 R. This was an easy assembly, and the light output is amazing. I actually ride at night with the low beam on, because the high beam is just too bright to be a courteous rider. I would order this again, even at the price point

Pros:1) The light is super bright and does the job.2) After minor work, it's basically plug and play.Cons:1) the bracket needed to be modified in order to fit my VTX1800 headlight.2) no instructions.I literally just got the headlight in today and installed it. When I opened the box there were no instructions on how the brackets all fit together (not such a big deal, just look on Youtube). But the the annoying part is. The silver bracket was scratched to hell and the black bracket needed to be filed down on the tag end where you put the screws( see the pictures, you can see one where I marked it with marker and the other after I filed it down). Then the metal hook part that attached to the main housing didn't have a bug enough gap to even fit! Thankfully all I had to do was bend it and it fit. The welds on there were pretty shotty work too. Also, for this price range, why can't they supply a plug or something to put where the bottom screw that attached the old light to the housing. Now I get to go and find something so that, if I ever get caught in the rain, water doesn't get in through the hole. So if you are going to buy this product be prepared to make some modifications.All I can say is for a product that is supposed to fit the VTX1800 this thing needs a redesign. Honestly the headlight is worth $80 and the brackets are worth $10... the price which they are selling it for is a rip off.

Wow. What an amazing light for my vtx1300s. Twice the output of the original light. Easy install, and it was delivered a day early. Very bright light.

Excellent illumination. Fit is not 100 % accurate and requires some MOD. Also, there is no place for original screw at the bottom of housing.

This is a great product. Super bright white light. Great halo ring. The halo is wired so that you can easily add your own switch if you choose, or simply plug the two wires together to have the halo work any time your bike is turned on.Once you figure out how to install it, it fits perfectly. Looks great. Lifetime warranty makes this one the one to buy.If it had only included instructions...this would be a 5 star rating across the board. Thanks to the YouTuber who took the time to post a video so the "mechanically challenged" could install the light.
