Good Bike!
Thus far, this purchase has proven to be a good one.The bike seems to be well constructed and is visually attractive. Relatively minimal assembly consisting of the handle bar, petals, front wheel, seat and hand brake adjustment was required but took less than 30 minutes. The accompanying manual is a helpful reference source.A few other buyers have mentioned damaged parts. While the card board box containing the bike wasn't entirely free of damage/punctures, the bike itself wasn't damaged and operates normally.

Seat cover came cracked/peeling
This was easy enough to assemble but the seat cover came cracked and peeling already.

Good sturdy bike
Our 6-year-old daughter loves this bike. She loves the colors and the hand brake. My husband found it fairly easy to assemble, although he did have a little trouble with the hand brake assembly. We had standard shipping, and it came within 2 days! Overall, we are very happy with the bike

Excellent bike!!
Excellent bike! Looks great and rides great. The only draw back is that it scratches really easily so resale value is going to be low, hence the 4 star review. I assembled everything but the brake in less than 20 minutes. I couldn't do the brake at all. I think it's a two person job. And the directions suck! But since it has coster brakes all is good! My daughter won't stop riding!!

Not good enough for my daughter
The handbrake handle is over-sized for a child and the mechanism for its pads is shoddy. There is also too much of a delay when using the pedals to break; I'd say we were able to get good stops less than half of the time we tried. The first thing I teach when trying something new is how to be safe doing it. My daughter already knows how to bike. We tested the bike by starting and stopping in a safe environment (just like you would a car), and this bike failed my safety standards. This is an unsafe bike that I wish I hadn't spent money on, and instead had put towards a higher quality bike (yes, even though she'd outgrow it soon, I'd still invest in the safe alternative so she'd get to survive the bike trips and GET to outgrow it).I will be reluctant in even donating it because I don't know that someone wouldn't get hurt on it due to the substandard quality. I'll ask a local bicycle shop if they'd be willing to work on it and donate/sell it after.I'd appreciate replies regarding 18"-20" wheel sized bicycles that are safe for my daughter and fit.I'm giving it two stars for a cool color scheme, quality frame, and design of frame and allowance for growth (saddle height adjustment).Hmm, front tire was also warped a bit, come to think of it. Oh, well... lesson learnt.

OK I guess
The bike is very nice looking and putting it together was not hard. I am disappointed that it only came with the front hand brake where in the description it clearly says front and back. Also the front room was bent. Hard to teach a kid to ride without training wheels when the from rim is bent. I saw that on other reviews but thought that it wouldn't be the case, unfortunately it was. it may me that they have to rethink their packaging strategy.
