I put it in and it worked. Thumbs up.

It didn't fix the problem.
the valve is continuously running, I replaced the rubber seal at the top. It stopped the water from easy allowing water to come in. I put the old one back in and it is still leaking water into the tank but at least i can flush it now.

The Fluidmaster fill valve is $5.39 here on Amazon and comes with this seal.
