This seems very nicely made, and the fact that it comes packaged instead of just in a little baggie was a nice touch. I like that the width is adjustable, and that the two pieces mesh firmly together, so that the set screw needs to stop sliding only along one axis rather than three. I have a standard 1-3/8" door, but put the two pieces together at the narrowest setting, then routed a groove into the bottom of my door. Doing this makes the floor guide virtually invisible: one side is against the wall, and the bottom is entirely underneath the door.

While I did return this product because it didn't work for my situation, I must say that it appears to be made very well. I also thought the design to adjust the positing was great. It's also nice because the guide is twice as thick as most so it would create less "slop" in the movement of the door. Wish I could've used it and wouldn't hesitate to use on my next project.

Versatile design.

Very solid, easy to install, easily adjustable and does exactly what I needed it to do. I highly recommend. Also, this guide has many options to accommodate many different door sizes.

Perfect for my needs. custom barn door hang. Attaches to trim instead of floor which is great if you have floating floors. Trick of the trade- if cutting your own groove in bottom of door with a router, hold back on your cut so you don't see the groove on the edge of the door. A also wax the groove makes for a smooth glide.

The description said it expanded to 2” but it doesn’t. The photo used is an inaccurate image of the expansion. There is a secure screw that doesn’t allow it to expand to 2”I will be returning this item.

These worked out perfectly and offer a number of adjustments to get the right fit.
