Worth it
This compact device has saved my wife and I so much money on batteries it’s not funny. My wife is a theater teach and has buckets of batteries that have been sitting in the tech room for a while. After using this checker we found that they were mostly good batteries.

Please do not waste your money on this. It looks like something you would find at a dollar store. I’m not throwing off on those stores because I shop at them frequently but I don’t pay big prices for items. It was made of plastic and had a stick on type sticker. Buyer Beware!!

The batteries don't fit
We bought two of these, one for personal use and one as a gift. When we tried it out the tester it was impossible to get the battery to fit in between the spaces. My husband was finally able to get one corner piece of the bottom in and barely a piece of the top in. The battery showed full-strength however this was an old battery so I don't believe it is reading accurately. I plan on returning. Don't waste your money.
