Super
Great accessory. Light weight, reasonable battery life, good tactile design. For productivity it easily beats the onscreen Input Panel. 2 years heavy usage and I'm still pleased.

It's a Great Keyboard
I've been using my new Samsung keyboard for a few days for everything from document typing, to developing in Visual Studio and Dreamweaver. It's a small keyboard, as wide as the Slate, which is perfect for portability; however, it's size doesn't make it a challenge to type anything and I can type really quickly on it without making grammatical mistakes or clicking on wrong keys (if there's grammatical errors in this review, please don't blame the keyboard).I agree with other reviewers, it surly would have been nice for Samsung to include a little case, or even a pouch for this keyboard - maybe even if they sold one separately it be great, but they don't.Aside from no carrying pouch, the only other thing Samsung could have done would have been to either include a power button, or some capability that would power the keyboard on/off as soon as the slate is powered on/off. I've noticed that without a carrying pouch, if I stick the keyboard into my backpack, if a book touches the keys, the keyboard will stay on for the whole trip; but thankfully the battery life seems to be good. Considering nothing rubs or pushes on the keys, the keyboard does power off quickly. Many also seem to complain about how annoying it is that the keyboard seems to turn off, and to wake it back up a key needs to be pressed, often resulting in the first letter of a sentence not appearing. I'm ok with this, and got used to it quickly. It's just a matter of typing the letter twice, once to power it on, and again to actually input the letter - or at times, I'll just press the Shift key prior to typing anything.Overall, I really do like how portable and compact this keyboard is.

Skips key presses randomly
Bought this for my Samsung Series 7 tablet. The keyboard is light and easy to carry. But it has issues:1. It randomly skips key presses, so you have to go back and correct typos because the keyboard did not recognize some key presses2. The keyboard regularly has problems with key combinations like Ctrl+C or Ctrl+V, which you use very often in Windows. More often than not, this keyboard does not recognize key these combinations.

Do NOT buy this keyboard
Please do not buy this keyboard. There must be some intermittent manufacturing defect with these keyboards. I am a physician who is trying to use this for electronic medical records. About half of my key exhibit the same behavior mentioned by two other reviewers on Amazon. The key will tilt to the right and you must stop and push down on the higher side to get it to pop back into its slot in the keyboard. It is annoying and precludes rapid acuurate data entry. I called Samsung twice and they REFUSED to honor the warranty simply stating that there is no warranty for that type of problem. My keyboard was delivered March 6, it is now May 15. I actually only started using the keyboard about two weeks ago so it really was that way from the beginning. Now I'm stuck with a barely functioning keyboard. Please Please do not buy this keyboard. You will be playing a lottery. Obviously some people are getting perfectly functioning keyboards and I will admit that if it werent for the sticking issue I would be happy with it. If you get a bad one they WILL NOT REPLACE IT. Personally, I will never buy another samsung product ever since I have no idea if this is the same way the back up there other warranties.David Thompson MD

I don't use it
This is the keyboard that came with my Samsung Series 7 tablet/slate PC. I had purchased an extra keyboard at the same time - assuming I would keep on in my briefcase at all times. Overall I very much like the tablet. This keyboard, however, leaves enough to be desired that after a few weeks I had to purchase a replacement. A colleague purchased the same PC and had the same experience - so this seems to be a fairly standard experience.THE GOODIt looks nice. In general it does what it says - it's a bluetooth keyboard that I can use with my Samsung PC (or any other device that will work with bluetooth).THE BADThe bluetooth connection seems to be unreliable. It drops frequently. More problematic is that it just doesn't seem to make the connection quickly sometimes - I spent a lot of time clicking the power button on the keyboard trying to get it to correct (which is a problem when you're using a PC in meetings that you want to quickly power up and use for note taking). The real showstopper for me was the lack of a trackpad or other mouse device. I think the manufacturer assumes that you'll use the tablet screen input for this - but I quickly found that this was a distraction that slowed down input too much to be worthwhile. When using a tablet in "PC mode" (i.e. with a keyboard) a mouse is a requirement. Lugging a separate mouse along helps to offset this shortcoming, but not sufficiently so. In the end, we ended up discarding the keyboards that came with the tablet and getting Adesso bluetooth keyboards that include mouse pads.If Samsung (or another keyboard manufacturer) is listening: The perfect option would be a case with an integrated keyboard. If the case would allow the tablet to be opened and used just like a laptop (i.e. in your lap without requiring extra support), but could also be folded completely out of the way to use the tablet with the stylus, it would be ideal. So I recommend against purchasing this keyboard - it ended up useless for me.

Great Keyboard
Paired to my Series 7 State without hesitation and works perfectly. I can type as fast as possible and it feels just like a keyboard twice its size. Sleek design looks great on my desk, it is the perfect accompaniment for the Series 7 Dock.
