After reading about scratching etc, I bought it. As you can see in the pics, there is no scratching. In fact one would need a really concave shaped plate to scratch. So, if your looks like mine it will be just fine.

These ate well made and easy to use.

Did not work for my purpose which was for irregular shaped plates well within their measurements. I damaged one trying to get it to work so could not return but returned the two of three I ordered with no problem.

I found a gorgeous hand painted Iris plate, and wanted a nice gentle hanger, and it is!

I used these to mount some hummingbird plates on the wall.

I used this on a hand made irregularly shaped item. Perfect!

I don't feel that the nails provided with the hanger were quite long enough

This plate holder seems to be quality made and looks very nice. I was glad to find one that wasn't gold tone. This one is silver toned with white plastic ends. It holds a plate on the wall & matches in my room very well.
