They cut everything I wear protective gloves when I use them to help against any accidental cuts cause it cut everything and that’s all I needed so far. Everything’s fine. I’m ordering a second pair today.

Worked great and THANKFULLY they are blunt tipped; Amazon literally threw them in a plastic mailing bag with no padding, no protection- I'm surprised they came without blood on the bag as the scissors were in an open position. Over the past year their packaging and protecting product has deteriorated, this was an all time low. BUT the scissors are GREAT!!!!!!!

These are great heavy duty scissors. I do a little bit of leather working and keep these scissors in my leather kit box. They have stayed sharp thus far and have not failed to cut several different thicknesses of leather. They are also comfortable and easy to use. Edit: still using these awesome shears. I added some photos to this post…these still cut rawhide like it was butter. For the price, these are fantastic and I’m still very happy with my purchase.

I used these for sewing, but haven't sewn anything for a while. After struggling with the shears I bought which were sold as kitchen shears, i decided to repurpose these. They work better than any 'kitchen shears' I've used. I use them to open bags, cut cold cuts, meat, and even slicing pickle spears. Since they are stainless steel, I can wash them and they don't rust.

These scissors are fantastic! Heavy enough to cut thru leather with ease and maneuvering easily with intricate stencil appliqué. Super sharp and comfortable on your hand, even when cutting through heavy thick leather. Great buy and fantastic quality

I bought these to use in my leathercrafting toolbox. They cut though 10oz leather like butter and with much less hand pressure than my "leather shears". I was a little bummed that unlike many other Gingher scissors, this one did not come with any kind of sheath. Hence my first project with them was to make one myself. These are great shears and a great addition to your crafting tools. Update: it has been 5+ years and these are still the best scissors I own. In fact, I’ve purchased at least 5 more and keep them close at hand and in each toolbox. Tidbit: I argued with security for an hour when they confiscated one of my scissors at a train station in China for being 3mm longer than allowed. That’s how good these scissors are.

These sheers were a little dull, but I sharpened them. They are great for cutting leather.

Finally wore out my old Tandy Leather shears and I couldn't justify what a new pair costs. These are working great so far. A good brand at a good price. Well made and sharp. Good leverage and easy to use. They appear to be quite well made and I expect to use these for the next 30 years.

I use these scissors in my job as a hand therapist. They are the best scissors for cutting through low heat thermoplastics used in splint fabrication. They arrived abead of schedule

Excellent quality, German made scissors. Price point is right for good quality scissors, and these are extremely sharp and keep an edge very well. I don’t like using them for paper, because it seems to do them quicker. Either way it only cost five dollars to get them sharpened.
