I ordered this kit for my filter for my Sony ...
I ordered this kit for my filter for my Sony DSC X100. I did not see the prompt for the online YouTube tutorial which is highly important to be successful in the application of the adapter. So, I went ahead "blindly" and screwed up the install. I had to contact customer support, but these people were so supportive and informative. They really went to bat to help me out. I do not think there are many customer support centers in this day and age that I could speak as highly of this company LENSMATE for their matter of attention. i really appreciate it.

I Really like this! Great Setup!
This fits and works very well on Sony RX100MIII. It's really a nice little set up and it comes in a handy little carry case, which is helpful because I won't be leaving the bayonet, filter & lens cap on all the time. When installed it, I let it sit over night on itself/on lens to make sure I had good adhesion. They include a black guide ring for the III & IV which sits right on the lens (with camera off). I wasn't quite sure what it was used for as there are no instructions included and you have to go on their site for instructions. There is a sticker on the little case with web address on it for instructions, nice touch since none are included. I guess it helps them keep cost down a bit to not have to include instructions, which is fine with me. For MIII & MIV instructions are a video. Watch once and it's easily done. They include a little tool to remove if you need to and you can get new 3m tape from them for only a buck a piece cut perfectly to size, which is great! I also purchased a step up ring (elsewhere), so I can use my DSL filters on it. Works good! My camera fits in it's fitted case with just the adapter part on only, which I'm happy about because I didn't want to have to remove it except when I feel it's time to replace the 3m tape. If this is what you are looking for to be able to put a UV or any filter on you M3 or M4 don't hesitate, it works well if you apply it correctly which is very easy. I haven't had any problem with vignetting with a filter & vented sun shade on as of this writing. I have tested it some, but not extensively yet. I seriously don't think it will be a problem.

A good solution that Sony should provide but they don't
I don't understand why Sony stopped making this accessory for the newer RX-100s but am very glad this company picked up where they left off.At first I had serious doubts about it, doubting a "sticky ring" would hold enough strength for the filters to be put in and out of the camera. I am now glad to report the job is done very well indeed!Word of advice though: you can't really put too big/heavy things on this ring. I tried just for kicks a wide angle lens I had lying about and the whole thing barely felt like it was holding on. Also there was no point in putting such lens in this camera. So something like a big telephoto lens will prove not useful for this solution. But several filters will work just fine as they are very lightweight. I usually have an UV and a CPLD on.

Still Love, but found a small problem not a show stopper
I went to sell my 4 year old camera that had one of these on it. I found that I could not remove the filter that I wanted to keep. Whatever, it was $30 clear filter so I sold it with the old camera and figured it was just an anomaly.Bought a new camera, and installed a new adapter kit. When I put my new ND filter onto this adapter (the new clear one was on back order), I again found that I could not remove it from this kit. I am probably over-tightening, but with ND filter was variable and when I went to spin it, it was unscrewing from the adapter. So I had to tighten it down. I did not turn all that hard.Normally, again if I had the clear filter on first, I probably would not have cared, since I leave that on all the time. But I could not leave the ND filter on full time. So I had to go the company website and order what they call "PART 2" of the kit.Not the end of the world, still a great product, now, instead of screw on filters, I in effect have 2 quick connect filters. It will work just fine, but it cost an extra $10 for this extra part.

High Quality Filter Adapter Set - Super Easy Install and Firm Hold
The Lensmate RX100 Quick Change Adapter 52mmset is very well made and super easy to install, especially when following an online instruction video (location printed on package). In combination with a 6-piece Zecti Lens Kit 52 mm (available on Amazon) it all works very well on the Sony Cyber-shot RX100M5 (RX100 V). I have yet to determine the longer-term durability of this combination in the field, but so far I am very pleased and particularly impressed with its precise engineering. Specific to the Sony Cyber-shot RX100M5 (and probably its older siblings), note that when keeping the filter adapter mounted with the supplied lens cap, the front lens section will then protrude 12 mm further and thus make the delicate lens combination quite large and more vulnerable when placing in a small camera bag. However to avoid that situation, one can choose to only leave the filter holder on the receiver ring, which adds only 4 mm. But even removing the filter ring from the receiver ring, only adds 3 mm to the original lens depth and even further away from the outer diameter (my choice). Finally, due to a very helpful customer service staff, the filter adapter set was shipped very expeditiously and arrived as promised by Amazon within a few days, well in time for a late planned trip.
