PG Tips Original Non-Pyramid, 240 Tea Bags (Pack of 4)

I fell in love with PG Tips decades ago while in London. This is the standard "go to" British tea. it is brisk and flavorful. it's full flavored, but not overly malty. I love the pyramid bags. Single serving sized that allow for proper steeping. There's enough tea in each pyramid for an 8 ounce cup of tea. If I have a larger cup, I toss in 2 bags. This is not my favorite tea, but for an everyday, strong tea, you can't go wrong. I also think it makes a great iced tea. THis is the most common tea in the UK, along with Barry's. But it's a treat for us in the US. This is not cheap because of tariffs and shipping costs, but this is an inexpensive tea in the UK. Think Lipton, but taken up a few notches. I usually just buy some while in the UK, but will buy online if I have no trip planned. This order arrived quickly and was fresh.

I’ve noticed the price of PG Tips has definitely gone up with inflation, but buying the 240-bag bulk pack is still the most cost-effective way. The tea is smooth, consistent, and exactly what you expect from PG Tips. If you’re a regular tea drinker, wholesale packs are the way to go.

Great tea, very wholesome taste and flavor

My family have been using PG Tips since 1972. While stationed in England in the USAF we made many English friends and one common denominator in all was the use of PG Tips. Certainly we tried numerous othe brands of tea but never ran out of PG Tips. At one time we even had relatives visiting England return with PG Tips. Bottom line, for an all around great cuppa, PG Tips Tea is the best.

Actually, PG Tips are excellent tea ... this is about the company that sold them. TERRIBLE! Although the delivery box was undamaged, all four boxes of tea inside were damaged. They had NO plastic sealing them, just the carboard boxes, and all the boxes were open to one degree or another. That tells me the teabags were exposed not just in the delivery box, but in the warehouse from which they came. I don't know what they were exposed to, and for how long. When I contacted the company they said send photos ... I did ... they said they'd give me a 50% refund ... for tea I'm reluctant to use!

It was good, but expensive, I like to see while you order it, and it should show the date before Ording so customer could see expire date before ordering.

I'm a Brit and I do love my tea! Like most Brits, I drink a LOT of it!! Not the fancy potpourri stuff of course... Just your basic, honest to goodness BLACK tea! I grew up drinking PG Tips and it is my favorite. I really do like the pyramid shaped bags. It might be my imagination but they really do seem to allow a quicker brew... The idea of running out, is the stuff of nightmares 😱. Well, now I have one less nightmare to worry about!! The tea arrived beautifully packaged and exactly as described.... 4 boxes of 240 teabags each - thats 960 cups of tea!! ❣️ I'm off to boil the kettle...

I tried the new PG Tips and it is terrible why have they all ways got to try and fix something that is not broken any way these Four Packs will see me OK for a while and I will all ways buy it on line while its available at this great price. People have reviewed that loads of the Tea Bags break easily that's rubbish you just need to be gentle and transfer some to a plastic container that says Tea on it being very careful and they last with no problems the original tea has all ways had one broken in a 240 pack but that's just if you are unlucky the original PG Tips will all ways be the best taste

If you are a tea lover and have not tried this brand you don’t know the real taste of tea. Once you start drinking this tea that’s when you will be able to compare and know the difference. Can’t live with out it. Now my kids, family and friends know the difference too. I am a proud 20 years user of PG Tips. Very good value for the price, will order again.
