I needed a pellet food for my auto feeder because I had to leave on a 2 week trip. It did great in auto feeder. My fish like the food. Some of the pellets sink fast, some float for a few minutes before sinking. None seem to sink slowly.

All the fish in my community seem to appreciate these little pellets. They do not disturb the water, they are fresh and the expiry date of the bag is far away (2 and a half years later). The only negative point (in my opinion) is that the pellets fall directly to the bottom of the aquarium as soon as I put them on the surface of the water. I can stop the air pump, but nothing to do about it, they drop. But it's only a small detail since my fish come down to get them. That's why I remove a star. Otherwise the pellets are of great quality and with a big bag like this one, I'll be gone for weeks! ================= Français ================= Tous les poissons de ma communauté semblent apprécier ces petits pellets. Elles ne troublent pas l'eau, elles sont fraîches et la date de péremption du sac est loin (2 ans et demi plus tard). Le seul point négatif (à mon avis) est que les granulés tombent directement au fond de l'aquarium dès que je les dépose à la surface de l'eau. J'ai beau arrêter la pompe à air, rien à y faire, elles dropent. Mais ce n'est qu'un petit détail puisque mes poissons descendent les chercher. Pour cette raison, je retire une étoile. Sinon les granules sont d'une grande qualité et avec un gros sac comme celui-ci, j'en ai pour des semaines!

I guess this is for bottom feeders. The food sinks really fast. That's a good thing to help ensure the bottom feeders get something to eat before all of the food is eaten by the top and midlevel feeders. I just wasn't expecting that.
