Does the job but wouldn't accessorize a Tuxedo with it.
Works great even in high wind. Had to get used to light with it as technique slightly different than say a Bic. Only lost charge 1x while out - was in heavy use for like 3days - now about every other day I toss it on the charger before my phone or pad. Recharge time is short. Great price and no fumbling with flints or needing fluid at awkward moments (though recharge is WAY more often than fluid refill or flint change). Appearance wise, I'm sticking to my traditional brushed chrome Zippo for formal occasions.

Good product
Great little thing to have for emergency. Works for lighting fires and cigarettes, but cigars take a while.

Handy rechargeable backup lighter for camping and EDC, but a little on the cheaper side
I picked this up because I wanted a rechargeable lighter that does not rely on butane, and for that use it does the job pretty well. I have tried rechargeable lighters before and some of them felt very cheap, and this one still feels a little budget, but for around $8 I think it is fair for what you get. The case is one of the better parts of it. I would call it more water resistant than waterproof, since it does not completely seal shut, but it does give the lighter some protection. The rubberized outer case feels solid in the hand and I really like the look of it. It has kind of a futuristic design to it and it also comes with a lanyard, which is a nice extra for camping gear, go bags, or everyday carry. The lighter itself works like it should. The arc lights consistently and since it is electric you do not have to worry about butane, pressure, or normal flame issues. I tested it in front of a fairly strong fan and while I would not call it fully windproof, it definitely held up well and did not blow out. The arc kind of vibrates in heavy airflow, which was interesting, but it still worked. If you shield it a little with your hand outdoors, it should be just fine. One thing I noticed right away is that it is very lightweight, which I like for pocket carry. It does not feel bulky or heavy, so it works well as a small backup item in an EDC pouch, camping setup, or go bag. USB-C charging is also a big plus since most of my modern gear already uses USB-C, so it is easy to keep charged without needing another odd cable. There are a few things that feel cheaper. The push button is plastic, the latch is decent but not amazing, and the whole closure system feels a little budget. Mine also arrived with the case a little separated from shipping, though it was not broken and still worked fine. So, this is probably not something I would compare to a premium lighter, but for the price I was still satisfied. Overall, I think this makes the most sense as a backup or utility lighter for camping, hiking, survival gear, or everyday carry. It is convenient, rechargeable, lightweight, and easy to throw in a pocket or kit. Nothing replaces a classic Zippo for long-term reliability, but this is still a useful little option to have around. TL;DR: Affordable USB-C rechargeable arc lighter that is lightweight, water resistant, and works well in wind compared to a normal flame. Build is a little cheaper in some spots, but for around $8 it is a solid backup lighter for camping, EDC, or emergency gear.

Small compact fire starter
When I received this item, I went ahead and fully charged it and then give it a try, and it lit up really fast as you can see in the video. It works extremely well and for the price that's excellent and the wind doesn't blow it out only when you let go of the button which is a built-in safety feature. Which I love about it and the cap that snaps into place as well. This item, it's built of good quality and produces some good heat. So don't touch the electricity. I just wish I would have bought the twin pack where the other had a torch.
