It definitely keeps the nasty odor from the porta potty down.

I won't be able to write a full review until we go camping, but I can write about what I know about this deodorizer. I ordered this, and the order was lost. So I ordered it again for our bucket toilet we use while car camping. When I did receive this, it was intact, with no leaking. Some reviewers had complaints about that, so I figured I would note that. About a week after that, my original order showed up. That container, too was in perfect condition, with no leaks. The smell of this deodorizer, while smelling like just that, is not objectionable and not too strong. I'll review further when our next camping trip is done.

We used this with a chemical toilet (Sanitation Equipment Visa Potty Model: 268 24 Liter with 2-level Indicators) we bought on Amazon. Neither my husband not I have ever used a chemical toilet and I have to admit I am a bit of a "girly girl" about these sorts of things. I prefer not to even think about what happens to waste and certainly do not want to be reminded that its in the room with us! YUK So any product that even smelled strongly of deodorizer would have been an issue for me. This did not but it did the job of not allowing the smell of the "toilet" to be perceptible either. So yes it does its job and it does it discreetly. Exactly as it should.

We use this in our Thetford portable toilet. There isn't much to say except that it does a nice job. There is a slight chemical smell which is noticeable in our small RV while flushing, which should be expected I believe seeing as how well it works to break down the solids making dumping the waste water easier.

I have used black water additives for odor control before and this product has to be the best. In combination with a Visa Portable Toilet which seals well to minimize odors this product has worked great for us. We go camping a lot and we keep the porta potti inside the tent at night for us to use. We are an older couple and get up to use the bathroom a few times a night. This product kept the contents of the porta potti from stinking up the tent. Its a great product.

I used this product in a small Coleman camp potty inside a small camp trailer. It does not eliminate the odor as effectively as I was hoping. I have tried several different deodorizers and I am still looking for a better one. The one that worked the best had formaldehyde in it. I am searching for the right product.

This works OK. The Coleman stuff works better for portable toilets. They really push it when you talk to them and other places too. The price is OK for what you get. Once caution make sure that you store it upright because the cap leaks if it falls over.

All I know is I used this in a toilet that sat in a metal shed that had waste in it unchanged for about 2 months. . Went back and when I changed it . Could not really smell much at all. Guess it works well.

I felt it was to expensive for the size I purchased and the fact I had to pay a large shipping fee
