I have used it at 20 feet, when the weather is nicer out I will try at different distances

Is it good for soccer outdoor games?

No not near fast or accurate enough. For soccer type games it's best to use a wide-angle lens that captures most of the field. There are systems that will "follow the ball" but those are usually wide-angle lens cameras that follow motion, and they usually require a subscription. Best is to get a fluid head tripod and a camera with a zoom lens and track it manually.
