Pinnacle Platinum Plus Baitcasting Fishing Reel

Very smooth, feels great in the hand. Spooled it with 6lb worked very well. I would call this more of a lightweight reel,don't know if I would want to go for big cats or large bass. Great reel well worth the money!

I got this reel as a birthday present for my husband.. He loves the reel! Says it casts great and doesn't back lash at all... arrived on his birthday, so I was happy about that.. BUT the only problem I did have with this is I thought I was ordering a hunter green colored one.. I got a silver one. Regardless of color my husband still loved it, but he already had a silver one like it. Maybe post what color it really is? Lol

Great price, but the unit is cheap. Have problems getting the reel tightened enough not to backlash. Fully tight, you still have to watch how you cast or you'll get a birds nest. Pinnacle used to be a good name, but I won't be buying any more. I love the 10 ball bearing reels, but these reels are not good quality.

It's a nice smooth reel only thing I didn't like was it said it had a clicking drag mine doesn't click and my tension knob was hard to tighten so had to take the O ring from behind it so it would work might just needed to oil it but it looks nice cast fine after those minor tweaks

Pinnacle opened my eyes !! Never really heard of this company or Product but, once I got this GORGEOUS BeastI had to Marry it to my FENWICK LUNKER FLIPPING STICK !!! WOW so SMOOOOOTH Ripped a 9 Pound 3 ozLarge Mouth Female on the Point and haven't looked back sense !!!! GREAT REEL GREAT F I N D !!!!
