Orpaz T40 Adjustable and Modular S&W M&P Holster Compatible with OWB S&W M&P 2.0 9mm Holder with Light/Laser/Sight/Optics - Will Secure Your Handgun with a Tactical Appearance

I've been using a C series holster from them for a few years and love it. I've been waiting to add a weapon light since I could not find a decent holster to accommodate it. Well, Orpaz finally did it! This holster is adjustable in just about every way and fits a variety of my handguns with an Olight weapon light. And I love the fact that everything is nodular so all holsters will fit on all attachments that I have.The only negative about the holster is that the magnet that holds the gun in place is a little too strong. It takes too much force to remove the gun from the holster. I tried adding a piece of rubber over it, which helped, but since this is just a range holster, I removed the magnet altogether, which was very easy. I'm extremely happy with the holster and removing the magnet in no way effects the draw and still stays in place nicely.

I'm REALLY enjoying this holster. Easily adjusted to my M&P 2.0. Just make sure you use the height adjustment before you use the thumb safety, or you'll have a time trying to get it off. Also, if you purchase the extra mag holder, just know it wont fit on the same paddle as the holster if your gun has a red dot sight on it. Highly recommend purchase...

I first bought a surefire 300u flashlight as the description stated it would fit. Unfortunately, the light was a little to long and the gap between the flashlight and frame were to small to slide to the end of the holster (even after adjusting the holster as far as I could). I than bought a streamlight TLR-1 and it fit perfectly. There is no wiggle room and my firearm stays firmly in the holster. If you have the same firearm, don’t use a surefire 300u as it didn’t fit (at least I couldn’t get it to fit).

I like the way it works and locks into place, but I returned it because it does not fit 5 1/4 inch barrel

Good quality. Good fit eventhough I bought this for my S&W M&P Shield .40. Will fit with a Olight pl mini 2 valkyrie, red dot by UGT, and threaded barrel by Lone Wolf.

The concept is great, the execution for my intended application not so much. Before ordering thru Amazon, I emailed Orpaz (mfr) to make sure their T40X with an OWB paddle would fit an M&P 2.0 9mm with a 5" barrel and Olight Baldr Pro pic rail light. They replied in the affirmative, so I ordered and received the holster in less than 7 days - pretty responsive. Now the not so good: (1) poor assembly & adjustment instructions - and nothing on how to attach the paddle assembly and adjust holster cant; (2) when attempting to back out / extend the barrel length adjustment screw, the screw and springs fell out of the holster. Thus, there was no way to holster a firearm with a 5" barrel securely so that the positive lock would swing over & clear the pistol beavertail. I worked with the holster for over an hour and there was simply no way to get it to securely retain my M&P 5". Just for grins, I tried fitting my Glock 17M (4-1/2" barrel, Olight Balder Pro also) in the same holster and it worked like a champ with little adjustment needed. For the G17M, holster cant and retention are great using both a 2" battle belt and a 1-1/2" standard duty belt. The magnet at the base of the holster (where the barrel rests) is also adjustable so that you can customize how much 'tug' is required to unholster the firearm; the 'swing over' positive lock at the butt of the firearm also works flawlessly. Long story short: the Orpaz T40X is a great holster choice for firearms with up to 4-1/2" barrels, but forget about trying to securely holster anything longer.

Very adjustable. Fits many different lights. Fits well with my s&w m&p9 2.0 full size with Olight Baldir S and Holosun Red dot. I like this because many holsters are designed to work with specific lights but this one will work with a variety. I feel that if I change lights I will just need to adjust the holster and not buy a whole new one. Worth the price.

Same holster works with my S&W SD9VE and S&W M&P 2.0 Compact .40 without additional adjustments. I use the same Olight baldr mini for both pistols.Don’t adjust too tight for your pistol or reholstering will be next to impossible.I also purchased their low rise mount and a separate leg strap so holster/weapon would clear my plate carrier.
