it is chalk. it helps me do my homework. I have used this product to learn algebra, trig, calculus I II and III and ordinary differential equations. it helps greatly when taking limits and doing summations. it is especially useful when one realizes that algebra is still important while doing differential equations and that a negative times a negative is still a positive. this product has saved me a fortune in whiteboard pens. it has also saved the planet from having quite a bit of plastic waste tossed into our landfills and oceans. buy chalk. use chalkboards. cheaper better and safer for all mankind. and yes, it really is anti dust!

Does not break easy and great price.

The boxes arrived, all covered in chalk dust. So much for the "anti-dust" description. Out of the 3 boxes, all but 4 pieces were broken. And of course, this item isn't eligible for return. I mean, who doesn't love getting shattered chalk for Christmas?

Came on time, pieces wasn't all that broken. Worth getting the 3 in a pack then buying 1. Also only buy from mega deals!! They the only company that got the exact chalk I been looking for

Package arrived with no broken chalk!! I keep chalk to pretreat spots that may have oil in them. The chalk soaks up the oil and then can be washed to prevent a stain. I'm a painter and also use to block out a painting.

The box pulled some G's on the way here, so there was a fair amount of breakage. But, it's chalk! Everything else was ok because the items were not breakable.Lessons? When shipping chalk, secure the poly-air paks around the item box more securely.

They work well so far, my only complaint is that the package (inside the shipping box) was coated in chalk dust and many pieces were broken. For what I will be using them for it isn’t a huge problem but it seemed like they were broken and covered in dust before they were even shipped. Also, know that just because they say anti dust does NOT mean there isn’t chalk dust. I’ve used a few brands of “dust less” chalk and while they may not chalk up your hands as much, they do drop dust when writing. They have a waxy type coating which seems great but it can scratch chalkboards/chalkboard painted things really easily. Once you get through the coating they work fine.

Just like old fashioned chalk; didn’t break as easy as the newer kid friendly chalk I had bought before. Had some weight to it and was visible immediately on the chalk board.
