NOT better than underarm crutches, but good for the price
TL;DR: Perfectly acceptable crutches, though not exceptional in any way, except maybe their price. Better than under-arm crutches? No. Not necessarily worse, but not better. With under-arm crutches, there is more stability. It's common knowledge that you will want to add some padding to under-arm crutches. It's less common knowledge that they need to be adjusted to your height. If you prepare for under-arm crutches properly, they will be more comfortable and offer more support than these crutches. The only advantage these crutches offer is that it is much easier going up steps and curbs. Lastly, these crutches are a little hard on the hands. Every morning, when I first hop on these crutches, my hands hurt. They hurt more everyday, though the pain mostly goes away after a few minutes. I saw some other reviewers mention that there are pads that can be purchased. I recommend doing that. If you are young, I would recommend these crutches. I would be terrified of seeing someone in their 70's using them. Manufacturing Country: As far as I can tell, final production happens in Valencia, Spain. I couldn't find their source for the aluminum and, given that the few companies that get metal outside of China shout it from the rooftops, it seems safe to assume that is the case here. That shouldn't dissuade you too much though: KMINA seems to be doing everything, except producing the aluminum, in Spain. That's better than most other companies. Weight Capacity: I weigh 150 lbs and these are supposed to support up to 275 lbs. My only concern thus far has been that the handles like to complain when I am a little rough on them, particularly when I put some rotational force on them when they are already on the ground. As with everything, those of you who are on the hefty side should probably err on the side of caution. Price: At $70, these are a good deal. I did find some other crutches that looked better in every regard while not being sourced in China, but they were considerably more expensive.

much better quality then expected
This is my first pair of crutches and first mobility aid in general. But they seem really great! I spent a lot of time comparing options on amazon and these were one of the cheaper options, but they are incredibly sturdy and nice. Much better quality than what I was expecting. I was personally thinking I'd prefer closed cuff forearm crutches, but there weren't many options available. However, I purchased Vive forearm crutch pads (also off of amazon), and they made the hand grips so much more comfortable. And I really liked having the forearm cuff more secure around my arm. The crutches are adjusted using a clip. The clip can be a bit hard to remove, but as long as you don't wear very different shoes you should only need to adjust it once. The clip does make for an extra part that can then be lost. But I don't think the clips would fall out during use; I'm much more concerned with losing the clips myself when adjusting the crutches. I use my crutches for fatigue, chronic pain, and occasional, varying joint pain. It has seemed to help with all of those things as well as help with balance if I get light-headed or dizzy. I chose forearm crutches over a cane because I have pain in my hands and wrists as well. I am able to use these crutches together or just a single one (similar to how someone would use a cane or walking stick) and benefit from them.

Fantastic padding
They arrived very quickly, the day after I ordered them. The crutches are very well made, with fantastic padding like I had never seen before. Because the padding is so comfortable, these crutches don’t hurt my hands at all, while normal crutches always do. Also, the neoprene is washable. The pads are removable, so you can just throw them in the washer. I highly recommend these crutches - great value for money.

I've been using these crutches for almost a year now. If I ever need new ones I will get these again.

Love them!
These are so comfortable and great for helping me get around, especially up and down stairs where I can't use a walker. For reference, I'm 29, 135lbs, and I haven't had any issues that other reviewers mentioned. The forearm rest is so comfortable and the padded grip prevents my hands from hurting. I intermittently put all my weight on them, and have had no issues. The reflectors were kind of a funny addition in my opinion, not a necessity. I don't plan on going on any late night walks on a road anytime soon - especially if my back just gave out.

Super Sturdy. Been using them for 5 weeks.
I damaged my ankle and ended up in a cast. I ordered these crutches the day after the injury and have been using them for 5 weeks every day. They are comfortable, durable, and easy to use. I highly recommend them! They’ve been a lifesaver!

Say Goodbye to PAINFUL CRUTCHES
Seriously the amount of control you have with these are wonderful! I tried using the regular ones, only my arms hurt my hands raw, not to mention I fell. These crutches were AMAZING!!! They have the removable handgrips too. Which really help when you need them in the shower to steady you way. Only one thing I would add as a manufacturer place an L (Left) & R (Right) took me a few times to switch then I marked them myself lol Save yourself & get these you wont be sorry 😁

Lange levertijd met een week, dus niet last minute bestellen. Maar ze zijn perfect: licht-zacht-stabiel. Aanrader, zeker met elleboog pads. Heel blij mee!

My wife has developed back problems since retiring some years ago. She has in within the last two years been diagnosed with compressed discs in her spine - as she's put it she's shrunk - losing a couple of inches based on her doctor's checkups. Up until the purchasing of these crutches, she had been using a pair of canes and they were good enough. However, while browsing various medical sites, she saw advertisement for forearm crutches. Thinking they could be better suited to her needs, she asked if I could check out their availability on Amazon. I found that there are a number of them available on Amazon. I looked over a number of the forearm crutches and subsequently put at least 3 different similar products on my wish list - waiting until the time I could afford to purchase a pair (as indicated my wife and I are retired - fixed income and all). Thus, when I finally could afford to purchase a pair for my wife (which wasn't that long after I had put them on my wish list), I looked over all the reviews before settling on this pair. This pair have turned out to be perfect (according to her in particular and her needs). They are value for money - for a pair of crutches without having to spend a lot in purchasing two individual crutches. They are adjustable through a range of lengths as indicated which was a major consideration. They have quite a few adjusting holes - unlike some of the other crutches - and the securing clip for the adjustments is very sturdy. Take care when adjusting as part of the clip is plastic connected to a metal nib and while not flimsy the nib could be broken off. Once adjusted they carried her weight without any problem. She says that the pair of crutches are better than the canes she had used; being very comfortable and very sturdy. All in all, in my, and her opinion - a great product - good bang for your buck.

Better than normal crutches as arms slip in easily even with a coat rather than having to poke down an arm hole
