Simply excellent
I was a bit dubious about a third party camera grip and could it live up to expectations and demand but I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by this. It fits the body well with only a tiny gap at points between it and the body but I think this would even happen with the Sony original. It looks and feels great in the hand, takes two batteries so gives lots of run time and plenty of shots. The buttons feel good to press and the lock button is a great idea. A similar one I looked at by another brand had a second power switch which didn’t really make sense. This locks the grip controls in case of accidental pressing.Highly recommended.

Build quality not great
Build quality no where near Sony version. Yes Sony one is much more expensive but worth it. I sent this back

Good for the money. Cheap and Functional
(Initial Review) The package came quick and the product was ... Plasticky. Nothing unexpected. It is not metal but we aren't paying for metal. It first and works so far with my A7III running 3.01 update. Official Sony batteries are fine and no major issues with use. I love the ergonomics in portrait mode. The buttons in landscape feel a bit off, since they are at the bottom of the grip and I bump them. I bought the Neewer version since I wanted the button lock at the top. I have attached it and locked the battery. I will check in a few days to see if there is any battery drain. I had a Smallrig L brakcet on it before and it provided enough room for my fingers which is nice, the landscape orientation doesn't feel as good as portrait or with just the l brakcet. Worth the money I paid since it is actually cheaper than the L brakcet. Buttons are clicky and louder than originally camera buttons but I have the shutter sound turned on so I don't care really. I don't shoot silently so clicks mean nothing for me.
