Works really well if you warm up it up with hot water first. Lid some times stores coffee which will drip out. But all and all works very well and is a good value.

This thermos lid holds liquid. It constantly leaks, spits coffee out at you and when unscrewed for refilling, leaks all over the counter. You can not poor one cup of coffee without getting it all over you and the counter top. I wish I had saved the packaging and I would return it. I feel guilty even giving it to goodwill. What a piece of crap. Do not buy.

You get what you pay for. The shell is thin plastic. The bottom twists/screws off for cleaning, but if you don't force it as tight as possible, pouring coffee will leak from the inner canister into the space in between the inner canister and plastic shell. Then it'll leak out the bottom. If you need a carafe for daily use, this is not it. If you just need one for slow weekend coffee drinking or the occasional guest, then this one might be a good value. Other people have complained about coffee getting caught in the spout. Again, a better quality carafe would likely solve this issue, but you can simply hold the plunger while the carafe is upright - that'll empty any trapped coffee back into the inner canister. Not rocket science. Though I hate to admit it, I saw a metal carafe for the same price at Walmart. I can't speak to it's craftsmanship, but I'd imagine it's at least on par with this one.Update: The innards broke after a few months. Very much a piece of junk, even with light use.

Bought this to use when my inlaws are in town. Read the reviews prior to purchase. A few had memtioned the fluid retention in the lid. This is the only negative I have found. You need to spin the cap upside down after you wash it to drain the fluid. Otherwise great product for the price

Not worth it. Leaked from day 1. Chintzy construction. Looks dirty all the time, because of its smooth surface. There are other, better carafes.

As described. Keeps coffee or tea hot. . A note of caution: When cleaning this carafe be careful not to allow the spout of the tap to bump the glass liner. In my case the glass virtually exploded. I have since purchased a different carafe from Amazon that is metal. That product works fine for my needs.

Good handle and pouring spout, Keeps tea hot for a good length of time. Only drawback is that the lid takes in the beverage if the carafe is filled to the top and drips all over the counter when you take it off f you do not hold it over the opening to let the liquid flow back into the carafe.

Keeps liquids hot, so it does its job. Would recommend this product.

Was bought as a gift. Person said she really likes it, but some liquid gets caught in the lid.

Just the right amount for morning needs.
