This really keeps my dog from chewing my growing tree

While mowing the parking strip I hit my neighbors tree support and knocked it over. At was already broken so I pulled up the good one and decided to get some tree trunk protectors to protect the bark from my grass trimmer. Protected that tree and went around protected other trees in the cul-de-sac. Only needed one, but used them all,

These are definitely thick/sturdy... hoping the string trimmer doesn't keep slashing some of our younger trees. Want to keep them healthy/disease-free! I will update this review if they don't seem to work.I did want to write this review bc I think many of the folks who say they don't latch together are doing it wrong. You have to use the hooks from the FRONT, not the back. I may even reinforce them with zipties. But they do seem to attach pretty well (i've connected two together for a wider girth).

I used this to wrap the bottom of two small trees so that the weed-eater does not destroy the bark.Drawbacks I encountered is that each tree required two pieces, and it is not clear yet how sturdy the joining mechanism is.

Was looking for spiral wrap but landed on this instead. They easily install and adjust to a range of sapling diameters. Now I can line trim around the baby trees without risk of injury to the bark. Thick enough and not brittle, so they stand up well to the line trimmer. The relatively smooth surface also doesn't shred the line trimmer filament. Just what I needed.

I use it to protect red cedar and fir blooms from deers stomping over. The are easy to assembly, a bit wobbly to get the tongues to stay in the notches, but I can't complain: they work well.

Little pricy but works great. Most small plants probably need two liked to form about an 8" Dia circle

Bought these to place around a few seedling trees to protect them from wildlife eating them. They seems to be holding up well and help me see where the seedling trees are in the lawn.I bought tent pegs to secure them to the ground.Would have wanted them to be longer for a wider wrap around but they do the job!

These worked well for my trees and look nice. I do, however, wish that they were just a bit taller. My 10 week old puppy likes to gnaw on my saplings and these aren’t really helping to keep him away at all… but so far no wildlife has made it to the trees.

Works well. Used stakes to keep in place.
