High Performance Parts Cold Air Intake Kit & Red Filter Combo Compatible for Pontiac 1999-2005 Grand AM/Oldsmobile 1999-2004 Alero 3.4L V6

Fitment is iffy. Had to eliminate a section of pipe and turn it into a short ram intake due to rubbing on the tire. After all was said and done, it did make somewhat of a difference in sound and throttle response.

I got this for my 2004 Pontiac Grand Am Se1 V6. Its awesome you can definitely feel a better throttle response, it sounds more aggresive when you floor it and in my case i can feel maybe around a 3-5 hp/trq gain and you will love the nice "hiss" the cold air intake produces. Just be careful with heavy rain and make sure water can wet the filter but i've driven it around with it when its rained and a trick that's vital is to avoid puddles, you don't want to "hydro-lock" your car you could get a "bypass cover" to prevent it but i'm not sure if it works, i don't have for my cold air intake. Overall its freaking sweet! Get it, you won't find cheaper. P.S. buy some heat wrap tap to keep the piping cold and reap the benefits more!

This is a well put together kit, with seemingly high quality parts, but it does not fit my '04 Grand Am. Maybe it's because I have the ram air model but there was no feasible way to fit this item into the engine bay.

Honestly had doubts in it before buying because it's a no-name part and was inexpensive, but damn, my Grand Am GT drives a little meaner now. Better acceleration, louder acceleration, just runs quicker. Does eat up gas, if you have a lead foot like me, but the part did what I wanted it to do. Recommend it. Installation and removing the factory airbox weren't the easiest thing, better with a second set of hands.

It definitely makes a difference. Makes my car sound healthier, ride smoother, and accelerate a little faster. It's a little hard and challenging to install but completely worth it. Recommend you have a friend there to help, was definitely a 2 man job at parts of installation. I have a 2001 Grand Am Gt so your experience may be different if you have a different model of car you're putting this in.

Part looks and sounds great, came with no Manual so it was a little bit of a haste but once it was installed I was more than surprised by the sound, haven't gained any mpg because air intakes really don't do anything for your gas mileage and there's probably only a 1 hp gain but it sounds amazing and works very nicely

Had to omit the elbows that came with it so that it doesn't sit under my car to prevent it from getting wet. Other than that it does add to the permance and sound.

Not too big of a performance gain, but the sound of a cold air intake is awesome and well worth the money for a car enthusiast on a budget.
