The smell on these is horrible and strong. I tried washing/soaking in 3 different solutions: Dawn dish soap, vinegar/water, baking soda/water and couldn't get the smell out. Hoping the seller responds with a way to get rid of it, or these are going back. Can't believe no one else has complained about this.Update: I put these in the oven for a while on a low temp, and they finally off-gassed. Smell is gone and overall I like these. 4 stars since they didn't come ready to use.

I’m sure they will work fine, but two things: #1 these are floppy mats, not sheets as represented. #2 they absolutely stink! I have washed them in detergent and hot water three times to no avail. Update, I felt I should update this review. The smell has finally washed away, and they are working beautifully. They were not what I expected ( semi-ridged) but actually help breaking up and transferring finished product to a container due to the lack of rigidity. I am upgrading to four from three stars. The smell, and the work to get rid of it cost you a star, sorry!

Love these. Not sticky with fruit leather, and fit my Gourmia 9-tray dehydrator perfectly.

I use these in my dehydrator when decorating specialty cookies. They keep the dehydrator clean and they are easy to wash with a soapy sponge and a rinse. Can be air-dried or with a towel. No scent and no mess.

High quality. They don't hinder the drying. Only note is that they are very hard to wash and dry, especially if you add salt to anything you dehydrate. This is probably more of a user error.
