Setup is genuinely painless. WPS pairing with my router took about two minutes. If your router doesn't support WPS, the web-based setup is also simple and well-documented. I had it running and broadcasting before I'd even finished my coffee. Dual-band coverage on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz means you can push better speeds to devices that support it while still serving older smart home gadgets on the 2.4GHz band without conflict. Multiple devices connected simultaneously with no noticeable slowdowns or drops in my testing. The compact plug-in design is a real practical win. No shelf required, no cable clutter, and it blends into an outlet without drawing attention. Power draw is minimal too, around 3.5W, so it just quietly exists and does its job. One honest caveat: this is not a solution for a very large home with heavy obstructions. It works best when placed roughly halfway between your router and the dead zone. In that context it performs well above its price. The "Renewed" condition unit I received looked and functioned like new. No complaints.
