Phoenicia Diner Cookbook: Dishes and Dispatches from the Catskill Mountains

I was very excited when I found out this cookbook was available. The Phoenicia Diner is one of my favorite places to eat in the Hudson Valley. I recently moved out the area for work and this cookbook will be a great way to connect with a place I love so much. Thank you it is a beautiful book.

Phoenicia diner is such a fantastic place to have a great meal in the Catskills region of the Hudson Valley. Every time we go up there we enjoy it… And yes, the cookbook even has the recipe for their phenomenal milkshakes! More ‘gourmet’ than ‘diner,’ you can’t go wrong with this cookbook!

My bf and I took a trip to upstate NY and one of our stops was the Phoenicia diner. We fell in love with the buttermilk pancakes. As a surprise I bought him this cookbook. We made the pancakes following every step exactly how it was written. They are the best pancakes I’ve ever had!!!!! A definite must have if you don’t have the chance to visit the diner in person.

I can’t wait to dive into this cookbook. This was definitely a great find. There are so many recipes I want to try and I’ve only gone thru about a quarter of it. Plus it looks like it will be a great read as well.
