Requires some work to place correctly.
I've been using these for the past few years. I shoot competitive 22lr rifle matches. As the headline states, it takes some work to get this placed correctly. Once is sits, the oil used for lubrication when adjusting get absorbed and it is stuck in place. That's the problem. The stabilizer is set for the ammo you used while installing it. Change your ammo and it should be re positioned. This is very hard to do and requires plenty of fresh oil. Bottom line. They worked for me so long as always using the same ammo.

The LimbSaver Stabilizer Really Works!
I gave one to a friend who owns a Kimber rifle in 30.06. He had not been able to get it to group under an inch at 100 meters. With the Stabilizer he was able, after a little tweaking -moving it back half an inch along the barrel- to get a clover leaf!

It’s a tight fit!
Don’t really know, my rifle is all parts from Toby kidd except for the stock and scope, and it’s a Precise shooter already. I’ve only had the damper on once since I received it and I really can’t tell a difference in how the rifle shoots, but it was only $12 so it’s not a big waste if it doesn’t perform properly .
