Fireplace Ash Can Bucket Pail, Black with Polished Brass

only 4-stars because:Liked bucket construction, liked balance of carrying the bucket. Not so safe to 'move/relocate' hot ashes *WITHOUT* a lid. I would consider buying this bucket -it seems to be that well constructed- if I thought would get the lid with it. (look at reviews, mine is not the first without lid). Also, the bucket I did receive had the return slip from another customer.

Excellent quality ash bucket. Well-designed and sturdy, but not heavy or bulky. Only problem is the cover/lid was not included in the package. Please send the lid it needs in order to haul ashes. Thank You!Edited to add: Lid was shipped promptly. It was packed well and sits securely on the bucket. Excellent customer service - Thank you! Bucket is generously sized and tall enough to be secure, but it is still easy for me to carry outside to dispose of the ash. A friend told me to never put hot ash/debris in this bucket or the paint will peel. The handle feels strong and secure, and it just feels like an excellent quality build overall.

Did not come with lid. I contacted customer service and they quickly replied and processed a lid to ship me immediately. Amazing service!Holds a lot of ash prior to emptying. Sturdy handle and a raised, heat resistant bottom. Sturdy well fitted lid to keep ash from flying out. Would recommend.

The ash bucket itself seems very sturdy and perfect for my needs. I look forward to putting it to use!However, it came in a large box with the bucket wrapped in a plastic bag inside without any padding around it at all. The bucket was able to slide around in the box in transit, which is probably why it's dented at the handle (see photo). The lid was fairly well-padded with bubble wrap and still somehow was dented in transit, presumably because the whole thing was able to move around in the box. I hope they wrap the bucket better in future shipments; it's a shame to receive a damaged product. :(

Shipped without paperwork and it’s lid. Took a lot of searching to contact seller, wasn’t convenient or easy to figure out. Quick response,awaiting resolution. Really like the pail!

Solid bucket. Great for pouring pellets accurately into my insert. Another bonus is that the saw dust from pellet bags settles in bottom of the bucket so it doesn’t end up in stove. You can just dump in garbage after several bags of build up. It will hold approximately 25lbs, however if u full that high pouring will be difficult as it will spill. I usually fill like 3/4 full then dump.
