Ateco #4846 .5-Inch Aspic Jelly Mini Cutters, Set of 12 Assorted Shapes

I bought the aspic cutters to make details in snowflake-shaped cookies and they were great. My cookies looked beautiful and I had a blast playing around with all the shapes. I also found that the cutters were perfect for making teeny sugar paste ornaments for a big Christmas tree that I made out of marshmallow/rice cereal molded in a traffic cone (not an original idea, saw it on a Food Network Challenge). These cutters are going to get a real workout -- but not on aspic!

Love these little cutters - I don't use them for aspic or for any kind of cooking, though! I purchased them to make unique designs in my soaps! Great little guys - they cut cleanly and are easy to clean up. Have all kinds of ideas for them!

This item is ridiculous. The aspic would have to be cut in bite size pieces. I have never seen aspic served like that before. I just don't know what you would ever use these for unless it is to make decorations for a cake.

I like them, I actually want smaller ones got them to use on polymer clay. They all fit fine if you take them out one by one to replace them not a big deal helps me keep organized. See photos each little square is a inch

These are very small and should probably only be used on cooked or soft veggies. Not that they aren't sharp enough but it would be difficult to do since they are small. They are a good size for carrots. I use these to make shapes in my carrots to give a little variety in my bento packed lunch. The heart one looks especially cute. I find that it's easier to use if you use the larger end of a chopstick to push the cut veggie out.

I used the star shape to make cutouts for the crust on apple handpies. It was fun to use and the pastry stars looked great.

I got these for my daughter's American Girl Doll collection, and for that they are great. But the quality is also very good. You can never go wrong with Ateco.

These are tiny. When I read about the 1.5 inch size I thought it was referring to each cutter. I burst out laughing when I opened the package, and the tin they come in is 1.5 inch!!!
