Mixed feelings
Compared to the smaller one I just returned to purchase larger tea pot - the larger pot does not have the lid engravings. So, I’m a bit disappointed that the lid appears cheap. Not sure if I’ll keep. I have until the end of month to return and this may be a deal breaker for me

I'm a tea fanatic and I love this thing!
Are there such people as tea fanatics? I mean, we're a sedate group, so your guess is as good as mine, but I really love tea and I have gone through way more than my share of teapots and various tea accoutrements trying to find the holy grail of teapots. I think this is it. I got the big one, which I have to say, I am so glad I did because the way the spout is positioned it does prevent the pot from being filled all the way up, but it uses up all the water in my 1.7L hot water kettle, which is a must for me since I like to brew a pot and sip it all day. It's quite a lovely/elegant design, but perhaps the best part is that the opening is wide enough for my chunky hand to get in there and clean it (often a problem with more traditional ceramic teapots). Others complain that the spout filter does let some tea through and to those complainers I offer a hearty pphllllbbbbtttt because so what, seriously! That little spout filter design is genius! I love this thing and have an itchy trigger finger wanting to order another one for when I inevitably break this one (I'm clumsy, ok?). Just buy it already (she said to herself).

Beautiful and durable tea kettle!
I have purchased this tea kettle based on an article by a famous blogger, Heather Dessinger, the founder of mommypotamus.com. I have been contemplating and procrastinating about replacing my old, but good, traditional glass whistling tea kettle, as used in most cafes, and buying a new one for a very long time. The reviews are what scared and confused me the most: shattered after a short period of use, the handle broke off, etc. This tea kettle was given a good rating by Heather and the price for the size of it was amazing, so I decided to give it a try. I have used it for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it! Yes, it's all glass, so you have to be more careful with handling it and use medium flame. The size (50.7oz) and the design are perfect, it contains no plastic parts (the lid is wood, metal and silicone), the handle is very comfortable and doesn't get hot when heated and the spout pours beautifully. It is also very easy to clean. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

gorgeous and sturdy
This is my third glass pitcher (I know, I am clumsy...) but it is by far my favorite. Things I like:1) the glass is thicker than in the previous two - which were from different sellers. It almost feels like a lighter pyrex dish, which is reassuring since I bump it in the sink and that's how I broke the others. It will also keep the tea hotter for longer.2) the size is perfect for my needs. I guzzle green tea by the gallon and this one looks big enough to last me through half a workday.3) improvement over every other kettle and a feature I did not know about when I ordered it: the bamboo lid is now lined with stainless steel. The previous one disintegrated pretty fast after I bought it and I was left lidless. Hopefully the stainles steel layer will protect the wood from moisture and extend its life.Bottom life - love this product. It makes for a gorgeous gift or just a beautiful object to enjoy the small joys of the coming winter. Go for it.

great little teapot
LOVE this little teapot. I debated for a while over a few options but this was a great buy for the price, and it has held up nicely. Works very well on a gas burning stove and keeps tea very hot for a while too after taking it off the burner. I also thought it might feel way too fragile being all glass but honestly it's pretty sturdy! Definitely a good buy and a cute kitchen item I don't mind having out on the counter.

Makes about 2 coffee mugs
I love this teapot. I always wanted a glass one but was hesitant to buy because I was afraid it would break easily. I've now been using mine for about 2 months and it is holding up wonderfully. I never put the stove on high heat but medium or medium high (5-7 out of a 10 setting) and it takes about 5 minutes to bring water to a boil. The little strainer in the spout is a wonderful touch as it stops any larger loose pieces. If you're putting in very fine loose tea, the built in strainer won't catch it so you'll still need one of the tea balls.

Seeing is better
A mid sized teapot with appropriately toughened glass holds the correct amount of water. I bought this one for flower tea.You place a compressed ball of flower tea in the pot and pour boiling water into it. The ball slowly opens revealing a decorative flower arrangement as the water changes colour. It is also great for just making leaf tea. You can see the tea strength based on the colour if the water.Tea leaves are strained by the small coil filter in the stubby spout. The tea pours much better if you leave the tight fitting lid off. I pour my tea into a preheated thermos.Getting the leaves out is the trick with larger pots. I use an empty plastic jar which used to hold peaches. It fits perfectly into the lid space of the teapot. That way you can tap the and shake the teapot until most of te leaves fall into the jar. There are always a few left to rinse out.Four stars. Recommended for flower 🌸 teas in particular.

Beautiful, no drip teapot
This is a beautiful clear teapot. It feels solid, not flimsy, but I am still very careful when handling it. I like the bamboo lid, which cannot fall off while pouring tea. I also like that there is no infuser to get in the way of my tea bags. However, it can only be filled max 3/4 because otherwise the tea flows out through the spout. That being said, there is absolutely no dripping when pouring through the spout, which is extremely important. All in all, an excellent glass tea pot which I would recommend.

I love the 40.6 oz CnGlass Teapot
I love this teapot. It’s pretty sturdy. I bought it mainly so the teabag wouldn’t cover the spout inside when pouring. I like that I can see the volume I’m pouring in. Perhaps the only improvement I would like is if it had lines somewhere to identify the various volumes/cups. I’m learning how to judge though.
