Kaytee Chicken Starter Grower Crumble, 5 Pound

My little girls love it!I ran out of starter/grower food and wanted something to last me until they were large enough for layer feed.This bag wasn't quite large enough but it's a decent value and good food.

Been feeding to our new chicks. They love it. Can’t wait for eggs. I like the ingredients in this mix. Very healthy and from a brand I trust!

I bought this because I had read that feeding birds a suet diet in winter can lead to gout because of the high fat high protein lacking vitamins. It blends to a powder very easily and was an easy simple addition to my homemade suet mixes for the birds and they don't seem to mind the addition of this at all.

Exactly what we needed and the quality was excellent AND didn't have to drive anywhere to pick it up.

Although my chickens began with and continue to like the grains, they readily ate the crumbles until they were gone. Will most likely feed them with the grains on a regular basis with some added crumbles here and there for variety. Good brand.

The chicks seem to like this food, however, this size is very small for the price that you pay. You can get a bag that is literally five times bigger than this one for much cheaper at a feedstore. I suppose if you don’t live near a feedstore this is a good option for you. But beware that there are better deals out there.

Good price for a nice product. I just wish my chicks wouldn't dump half of it all over the place in my classroom.

I was very disappointed to receive this, as it was rancid. I searched the label but found no outdate information. Couldn't bring myself to feed it to my day-old ducklings when they arrived. I wonder if someone thought it would be a good way to get rid of it, to dump it on me.

It was expensive. Same price for 25kg bag at farm

insanely over priced item, go to your local supplier and buy the equivalent amount and quality for roughy 8$.
