Customizable lighting arrangements
I really like this keyboard so far. I love the sound and the physical feedback. No instructions with the keyboard (-1 star). I'm not really a fan of the side-by-side numbers/symbols or the font they used, but those are not really a big deal to me. The green row (ASDF...) looks much brighter than the other rows.I found that you can save two different custom lighting arrangements (+1 star). No, you still can't change the colors, but the lights on each key can be programmed to be on or off individually. The new settings seems to survive being unplugged for a short time (I've only had it for a few hours so far).1) Press Fn+9 and release. (The "9" key on my keyboard has a little "LR1" inside a box.)2) Press Fn+HOME and release. (The "Home" key on my keyboard has a little "LR" inside a box.) The FN key will light up at this point.3) Press any keys that you want to have lit up in this mode. Press them again to turn them off, if you want. Get things set up the way you want and then...4) Press FN+END and release. (The "End" key on my keyboard has a little "S" inside a box.) The lights on the lit keys flicker as the pattern is saved.5) To retrieve your lighting pattern while in any other mode, press Fn+9 (or "Fn+LR1", if you want to look at it that way)..You can do this with the "0" key also (which has a little "LR2" in a box under the "0") for a total of two customized lighting layouts. I'm guessing that "LR" stands for "Learn" and that "S" (on the "End" key) stands for "Save." I have no idea if that's right, but it works for me.To set the keyboard in 6 key roll-over mode, press Fn+PrtSc (on my keyboard, there is a little "6K" under "PrtSc").To set the keyboard in N key roll-over mode, press Fn+ScrLk (on my keyboard, there is a little "NK" under "ScrLk").To brighten the keyboard lights, press Fn+UpArrow. To dim the keyboard lights, press Fn+DownArrow. To speed up the lighting animations, press Fn+RightArrow. To slow down the lighting animations, press Fn+LeftArrow. The number keys (above the letter keys, not the number pad numbers) also have pre configured non-customizable (at least not that I've discovered) lighting layouts that seem to be designed for gaming. They have a little "L1" - "L8" in a box printed on the keys. For example, pressing FN+1 lights up "WASD, Esc, and the 4 arrow keys. FN+2 through 8 give different arrangements. If anyone knows how to access the macro functions (as in the description) please let me know: "Fully programmable keys +5 additional gaming keys with on-the-fly macro recording"

The gold face is not too bad but the rainbow colors of the keys are garish ...
Purchased this keyboard for a few reasons: First I have been wanting to try a mechanical keyboard for a while. Second, I wanted to try one for as little money as possible in case I came to the conclusion that the click was not for me. Lastly, I own a Sades Blademail keyboard and I am very impressed with it's workmanship and quality.I have used the K10 for about 5 days now - I work from home with it as well as game. Here are my impressions:- When I purchased the K10 from this seller, it was the cheapest mechanical full length keyboard on Amazon at that moment. I stress moment because the prices of keyboards change daily and this model is sold by more than one seller. So shop around.- In my opinion, this keyboard wins absolutely no awards for beauty. The gold face is not too bad but the rainbow colors of the keys are garish at best. I usually just leave the lights off. The choice of playing with light designs (flash, breathing, etc.) does not appeal to me either but for those who want it it is there. Also, above the arrow keys, the SADES name and logo is lit up with a very piercing blue that tends to distract me while I type. You can hit the FN and Menu keys two or three times and turn this light off, but when ever the keyboard goes to sleep it comes right back on at wake. Very annoying. I have ended up cutting a yellow sticky note to size and covering the logo and name.- If you have done any research on the K10, you may have noticed that it is supposed to have a cable management system under it for snaking the usb cable to one side if you desire. Mine did not come with any such system and the cable it fixed to the top side of the keyboard. The cable does appear to be braided and then a layer of clear coating over it.- The keys are loud a clicky. It is my understanding that the switches are like a MX cherry blue switch and are supposed to be clicky. I did purchase some rubber O rings to quiet the noise a little and I do recommend the $6-10 purchase of them. Personally I find typing on this keyboard very pleasant- but it is loud so be forewarned. The key caps are nice- only thing that is slightly confusing for me is that the keys - print screen, scroll lock and page break are printed with two letter initials - but this is minor.- The manual that comes with the keyboard is a bit confusing and some of the keys it references are incorrect. For instance, the manual instructs the user to press FN and INS keys together to change the light mode. FS and SL should be pressed instead.Overall for a mechanical keyboard under $50 this is a good buy. The keyboard works well. I am removing one star for the lack of advertised cord management and annoying logo, as well as the misleading user's manual.

Possibly disappointing for mature adults.
I bought this product without fully doing my research. I stupidly assumed that there would be multiple USEFUL lighting modes possible - you know, like all keys one color, and maybe multiple brightness levels. Alas, all you get is what you see. There is an uneveness to the luminance of the various LEDs used, and it's way too bright in the dark. Changing modes does nothing particularly useful and I feel a little embarassed as a grown adult to be seen using this.Key action is decent, if not quite IBM PS/2 quality, and tactile feedback is quite good.Next time I shall pay more attention to video reviews and/or answers to questions before purchasing something so potentially tacky

Great Keyboard! I like it better than the Cherry ...
Great Keyboard!I like it better than the Cherry Blue and Cherry Brown Switches. It's nice and compact on the desk but the key distances are absolutely normal. This does not have any of the extra buttons on the right side that some Chines keyboards have. So thereis no learning curve or accidentally pressing the / key.I like it so much I bought one for my home too. The lighted keys are very nice makes it very easy to see the keys whenyou need to look for a key that you don't usually use.

Heavy. Sexy. Perfect. Buy it!
Do not spend 100+ on a similar item, this is a great keyboard. Currently use for Overwatch and CS:GO and I love it. It's sleek and the keys are perfect.
