Just a tad smaller than I hoped...But a good gadget bag for the price
I had hoped from looking at this that this would fit my 10.1" Acer Transformer TF300 tablet, but it is just a tab bit too small. The other reviewer indicated her iPad fit in it, but the 10.1" tablet must be just enough larger than the iPad to make it not fit. As this is my primary gadget I almost always have with me, it probably will not see much use by me, and I'll probably be looking to pass it on to someone else at some point. But I did take some time to see how it would fit my other gadgets. My gadgets:1) Acer Transformer TF300 10.1" tablet - as noted, doesn't fit at all, even trying to slightly stretch it. ASUS TF300T-B2-BL 10.1-Inch 32GB Tablet 2) Nook Color tablet - Of course, fits great. Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR eBook Reader 3) Pandigital 9" Novel - fits great It's amazing how much a different taking 1.1" off the tablet size makes for the fit, this easily fit into it Pandigital Novel 9" Color Multimedia Android? Table + WiFi? eReader 4) Kindle Paperwhite - Fit easily, including its leather case Kindle Paperwhite 5) 2 Android Phones - Fit in the phone pockets but see later comments HTC Aria GSM Phone with Android 2.1 OS LG P990(white) Optimus 2X Unlocked QuadBand GSM Phone 6) Archos 43 Generation 8 tablet - a small 4.3" android tablet. This is my portable music player for the most part, though I also keep some games on it. Archos 43 4.3-Inch 8 GB Internet Tablet (link is for the 8gb, mine is the 16gb, but giving the links merely so you can see the devices and their sizes)7) 12000mah usb backup battery charger New Trent iCarrier 12000mAh Dual USB Ports External Battery Pack There is an insert that is meant to hold game cartridges for the 3DS and DSI, I had no real use for that since I own neither device, nor do I carry extra sd cards with me really, which would also have fit nicely. But even if I did carry the sd cards, there are some slots on the front flap that work for that.So I put the Pandigital 9" Novel, the Nook Color in a soft cloth lined holder, and my Kindle Paperwhite in a leather case. They fit comfortably. I did place a soft cloth sheet on top of the novel to help protect the screen, though I really don't think I needed to do that. I also this maybe the game cartridge insert would have served that purpose, but would have taken more space to do so.Now for the phone holders....I really don't like the way they basically cut some slits into the bag's lid for the phones. There are three slots, and I was able to fit both phones and the android 43 in the slits, but I was not impressed at all with how they sit there, and I'd have some real durability concerns with the way this is done. Each of the three small format devices I use has a case also, and with the cases on, the material was stretching a bit. Which added to my durability concerns. Though, it does make the fit a bit snugger, which I guess could be a good thing. Now this was a bit of a tight fit, but not nearly as much as I was thinking it would be. In fact, there was even room for a portable 12000mAh usb backup battery I use to recharge devices on the go, and a couple small usb cables. Not much more would have fit.I really like the shoulder strap. It's very comfortable. My ideal device configuration for this would have been the 10.1" tablet, the kindle, and the 2 phones and media player handheld, with the battery backup unit and cables. But alas, that wasn't going to happen. But for an iPad user, or someone with a different combination of devices, I really think this is a good, fairly well designed, gadget bag.So I'm not going to rate it down for the tablet not fitting. The description could have been better about giving measurements, but I'm not going to hold that against the product. I am going to rate it down 1 star for the small device/phone slots. That was a bad design decision in my opinion. But as to how they hold up under long term use, that's probably going to have to be someone else's task to review.

Perfect for when you don't need your computer
I've been using this for a few days now, and my back thanks me for it!I often have fallen into the trap of overloading my computer bags with more than I needed, because...you never know if you might need this cable or that adapter, etc. So, I tried something radically different: I'd leave my computer and its bag at work unless I needed it (because I often found I was just transporting it home from work, but not using it), and only transport my mobile devices. To this end, this bag is great. For a guy, this bag is almost borderline man purse territory, but I think the dual clasps and "G-PAK" raised lettering on the back make it just enough to let people know that you're not toeing the line. If you're a bigger guy, however (closer to six feet tall), this case will seem even smaller relative to you, and may indeed look more like a purse. It's important to note that this is not a bag you can quickly access your gear while on the move. Though this initially deterred me from buying the bag, I decided that maybe I needed to slow down a little and maybe not have such gear at the immediate ready. Maybe I need to pay attention to life around me sometimes. LOLWhat this means is that you need to sit and lay the bag in your lap, or lay the bag on a horizontal surface, to open it. (You don't have to take the bag's strap off your shoulder.) Once you've done that, you can open both plastic clasps simultaneously (yay for opposable thumbs!), and then unzip the central neoprene cover for the main compartment, and flip it open toward you. Because the neoprene cover is hinged closest to you, this is the reason why you wouldn't want to open your bag while on the go or standing, because you could potentially drop something from the bag onto the ground. On the inside of the neoprene cover are three slash pockets, of roughly equal widths (imagine three columns). If you don't have outrageously large phones, you can store them completely inside the middle slash pocket without any part of the device sticking out. For the two side pockets, however, their depth is limited because the bottoms of the pockets are sewn in a curve, rather than a straight line. I'm not sure why this is, but this restricts me to putting more flexible items in them, like cables and adapters. The two doors that swung open when you released the plastic clasps have a business card pocket, two penholders, two stylus holders, and a couple of memory card pockets. These you actually could access on the move. Even with the doors closed, I can reach down between the doors and the bag's neoprene cover and grab a pen, if needed. The main compartment is just large enough to fit an iPad sideways (landscape orientation), and there are integrated hook and look straps to keep it in place. Also included is a double-sided, removable divider with small mesh pockets on both sides. You could fill them with DS games, memory cards, etc. Two padded dividers are included, so you can further organize your stuff in this cavity. The strap is a slippery nylon, and the included shoulder pad slides all over it when you're trying to grab it to put on your shoulder. I'm actually thinking of somehow securing the shoulder pad to the strap, so I don't constantly have to readjust its position.Overall, a great bag for holding your mobile gear, as long you don't need to grab items from it instantaneously. And, your previously overloaded back will thank you for it!

It may very well become your daily go to travel case
Living a life as a Web Designer means that I always have to have at the ready devices to test Websites for Clients. The G-Pak Organizer Carry Case makes this a easy accomplishment. The internal compartment is roomy enough to allow Me to carry 3 tablets (Android, Windows and an iPad Mini) and a boogie board E Ink reader along with Business Cards, USB Drives, adaptor dongles and a stylus to meetings all in a compact size case. The construction is well thought out and like other entries in the G-Pak line of cases (I have ones for the PS2, Original Xbox, Nintendo Gamecube and PSP systems) is made out of quality materials. I would highly recommend this for either the gamer on the go or those who have made the transition from laptops to tablets. It may very well become your daily go to travel case.

smaller than I thought
Smaller than I thought it would be . It won't fit my iPad with a case on it. I'll just use it for cables and chargers.
