Mighty Bright 42611 TravelFlex Book Light, Blue

I'm so happy that I bought this one over any other book light. The extremely flexible neck makes it easy to put into any position, but stays where it's put. It's super light weight and doesn't weigh down my paperback books. It has easy access to the battery; just push a small button and slip off the cover. A battery also comes with it, which was wonderful since I was currently out of batteries. The bright light makes for super easy reading in any lighting, without blinding you. It's also very easy to turn on, and the clip will clip onto anything, even a thin piece of paper. I love this book light & will definitely buy another if something happens to my current one. I highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a book light. It is so worth the money.

I can't speak for how this would work for books but it's perfect for my old kindle (no backlight). Great bright light for almost every night for a year. Then light started getting duller and duller. Changed battery and brand new light. It's flexibility enables me to easily reposition the direct light to eliminate any glare from the screen. Color selection is great so I got one last Christmas for each of my 4 grandkids. With my eyesight these days good light makes all the difference in my ability to enjoy my reading time.

Though I've only owned this light for a month, I haven't had any bad experiences as of yet. The light it emits is just right. My son even likes to take it and play with it like a flashlight (he's only two years old).It only requires one AAA battery, so that is a huge plus -- it's lightweight, plus I don't have to worry about replacing/recharging a ton of batteries. I think the downside is that I have to replace the battery a little more often than I thought I would. I think I've changed it out 2-3 times already; however, I use rechargeable Eneloop AAA's, so it's really no big deal at all.

If you want a book light to use when reading in the dark or low-light, I recommend the Mighty Bright TravelFlex Book Light. It is reasonably priced, well-made, light and small, easily positioned over a book page or Kindle display screen, attaches quickly and securely, the light is bright and the battery life is exceptional. And, it comes in several appealing colors. I have four of them - one I keep in my purse, one in my camping and vacation satchel, one in the living room, and one in the bedroom.

Needed a book light for my Nook reader but was mainly finding models that use those button cell batteries which are, aroundhere at least, much more expensive. Seeing that this unit used only 1 AAA I figured it would be best bet.So far I'm very happy with it (in fact liked first one so much I bought second in different color as backup), it's very bright, seems very well-constructed and I'm getting hours and hours of usage on my rechargeable batteries.The only slight negatives that keep this from getting 5 stars are:1) The on off switch is located above light itself and it's a rather stiff slider switch which I have to use my fingernail to move andsince switch is rather stiff and light is delicate, much care has to be used.2) The body portion (which houses the battery) is rounded rather than flattened making it slightly awkward when resting book on table or trying to flip over front cover for reading.Still, these are pretty minor complaints when weighed against how well light performs its task combined with the huge money savings and convenience of using a single AAA battery as opposed to button cells.Highly recommend this light.

The light is bright enough and a nice compact design. Thought I was really going to love it, and I probably would if the clip had not broken about the 3rd time I used it. I had it clipped to the Kindle cover (a leather cover which is very thin). The clip broke off just below the hinge so the clip is not useable. The clip is only plastic and the hinge puts a pot of pressure on it. Would have appreciated a metal clip or one with at least some wire embedded in it. I expected the clip to be much stronger as it IS intended to be clipped to a book cover. I have not returned it for a new one as it is just too much trouble doing the paperwork.

This is super! Not too bulky, not too bright. Brilliant! My 6-yr old son uses it reading before bed, and when we travel. It seems very sturdy and durable! Love it!Update: A day later, it stops working. I replaced the battery with a new one but that didn't work. It seemed like there's a wiring connection issue. I will have to contact the seller to see if I can get a replacement and see how that works.Another update (December 13 2014): They sent a replacement about 2 weeks ago and it has been working really well. Let's hope it continues to shine! :)

As an avid reader, I often read in bed while my husband is sleeping. And I have tried dozens of booklights. Mighty brite is the best....no comparison. The light spreads over the page cleanly without hot spots or dull areas that force you to continually adjust and re-position the light. It's extremely light weight and runs for a very long time on one battety. Plus it uses regular batteries, not the special button-type battery that cost an arm and a leg and are difficult to find at the store.

Compré dos lamparitas de éstas hace casi un año. Las hemos utilizado muchísimo y siguen funcionando perfectamente. No he tenido nunca otra lamparita, así que no puedo comparar, pero me llama la atención leer en otros comentarios que la luz puede no ser suficiente... A mi hermana y a mí nos parece que dan luz más que de sobra (es más, demasiado), tanto con libros en papel como ebook. Con libros gordos o pequeños, me encanta. La uso hasta como linterna para moverme por la casa. Es totalmente flexible y la pila me dura un montón. Pesa lo que tiene que pesar (sobre todo por la pila, porque la lámpara en sí no pesa). La pongo en cualquier esquina y ni me molesta ni se me mueve.En fin, no sé si seré poco tiquismiquis o que me falta probar otras para comparar, pero si mañana se me rompiera compraría la misma sin pensármelo.

電子書籍リーダーとの組み合わせで使用。陽が短くなると、バス停で５分待つ間に本が読めないのが辛い。アームが結構長いけど、その分、上から良い感じに照らせます。照度も十分。単4なのでコスパもよし。

Does exactly what it is meant to do, lights up my bedtime book! I usually read on my Kindle, but occasionally read paperbacks if I can't get them for the Kindle. This does the job perfectly. Just the right amount of light for the pages without flooding the bedroom and waking hubby!Very pleased.

単四電池１本で使えるのが嬉しいです。特殊なボタン電池を使っている物が多いですが、単四電池はどこでも売っているので、助かります。防水かどうかわかりませんが、防水仕様なら完璧です。
