Nothing bamboo about these. Packaged thoroughly in plastic. Good if you don’t want to avoid plastic but otherwise a disaster.

There are quite a few toothbrushes here. My partner and I each use them though so we soon go through them. The re-closable plastic box that these come in made it so much easier than a blister pack to get the toothbrush heads out. Hopefully this is more hygienic as well than leaving a pack mostly undone. These are really flat boxes so don't take up much room when stashing somewhere for when you next need to replace your toothbrush.Each head has been pre-fitted with a coloured ring so you can determine whose brush is whose. I know I don't want to be putting someone else's toothbrush in my mouth so this stops this from happening. The brushes themselves are a dark grey which I suppose means they have the charcoal on them, I'm unsure if these will lighten after time to know when the toothbrushes have no life left in them. The bristles on the brushes are slightly longer on the top and bottom of the brush which really helps clean the teeth and the gumline which I've found it sometimes a struggle to reach.It seems counter intuitive that the charcoal actually makes my teeth whiter but it's can't hurt to try really.Great replacement toothbrushes to keep my teeth clean.

I've never seen charcoal toothbrush heads before so thought I'd give them a try and after using them now for 2 weeks, I'm quite impressed. Using them feels the same as using OralB originals and I like the way that each one has a difference coloured ring around it's base so you can distinguish difference toothbrushes if several householders use the same brush. After 2 weeks of use, it's also showing no signs of wear and the individual bristles still look good and are not stickout out in all sorts of random directions like they normally do after a couple of weeks! The only thing I don't like is that it's not quite as secure a fit on the toothbrush and so when I clean the inside of my upper teeth, it quite often comes off. It's fine for cleaning everywhere else so I'm trying to hold the toothbrush differently to see if that helps. Other than that, I'm very impressed but as this is a frustration, I'm only giving 3 stars. If they didn't come off, I'd give 5 stars plus!
