Assembling the exercise machine
Our machine arrived earlier than expected, but the box was damaged: ripped open and taped on one side and visibly crushed at one end. Fortunately, nothing was damaged during shipping. The parts seemed solid as did the tools that came with it. There were two wrenches and three Allen wrenches and none showed any wear once assembly was done. They made one choice that made assembly easier: most of the bolts, nuts and washers were attached to the frame so there was no need to search for the right ones. You took them out, put the part in place, and then put them back. There is a link to a video on how to assemble the machine, but it didn't have quite enough detail so I used the printed instructions too. These two sets of instructions don't follow the same order, but in most cases the order isn't significant. At one point the video mentioned a packet of "butter." This turned out to be light-colored grease. There were two glitches. The first was serious. One of the lower handlebar arms, which connect to the upper ones through four rectangular holes, had only three. The fourth one had been stamped, but not punched through. The metal tube is quite robust, of course, but I decided to drill a small hole through the center, then switching to larger and larger bits, I broadened the hole until I reached 5/16 inches, which was about the size of the small side of the rectangle. At this point, I used a small chisel to open up the two ends of the rectangle. (The shape is important, since the bolts are round head bolts with square shanks.)Although this worked, I may have damaged some drill bits. This was better than waiting a long time for a replacement part (the machine was shipped from China). But not everyone would have had the tools needed for this. The second glitch was my fault. The two upper handlebar arms come with bolts already attached and I took the bolts out, put the arm in place, and put the bolts back in. Only after I'd done both did I realize that both arms had had the bolts in the same direction but when installed, since they are mirror images of each other, I had installed the left one with the bolts going the "wrong way." It would operate just as well, but it looks wrong to have the nuts and washers facing the user on one side but not the other. I reversed them.On final note. I did this in the basement under a broad heating vent, one high enough so that I never thought of it. When I stood up on the finished machine my head bumped the vent.. Keep this in mind when you do yours. Nine inches above your head is not enough, but 18 is plenty. One final note. This machine is not really an elliptical. The arms and the foot pedals are attached so that you really must use the arms to get a really low Impact workout. This is important to me because my knees are arthritic. But I get a good workout and love the ability to stand and sit.

Very well-made
This machine seems very well-made and sturdy. I have at least 100 lbs to lose but it doesn't feel like this is going to fall apart on me, so that's a good thing! Definitely feels like a good workout too. We had some issues with the front wobbling and the seller was great at helping us troubleshoot, so definitely contact them if you have any problems.

Lovely

The installation video is really helpful, I spent around 40 mins on installation. I’m 5’2” and the machine size is perfect for me. My husband is 6’, he spent longer time to adapt it. Overall I love it!

Great product for the price!
I was originally a little leery about buying an exercise machine through Amazon and wasn't sure what the quality of this item would be given the price, but decided to purchase this elliptical because the reviews were pretty good. I received this item earlier then expected and I'm very impressed! Easy to put together and works great! Easy to move around as needed. Highly recommended!

Don’t buy it! Not good for workout at all!
Took around an hour to assemble! It was nothing like the advertised pictures! The seat is not ergonomic at all and it’s rather annoying! The worst part is since the package is so bad and the assembly is too long you simply avoid shipping the product back! Awful experience!

Noisy and unstable
I was so excited to buy this but after putting it together I was very disappointed. It makes a lot of noice and very unstable. I did work up a sweat after 45 minutes working out on it but did not enjoy the excessive wobbling and noise. I regret spending my money on this. Wish I chose a better machine

Solid, tough, machine for home use
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. During the closure of gyms over the various lockdowns in the UK, I decided to put together a proper 'home gym'. I already had a bike and a weights bench, and added - firstly - a treadmill and finally this cross trainer. As I received this when gyms were back open I left it in the box for a few weeks, but then put it together when everything closed again at the start of November - so I've been using it for almost 8 weeks now and will be using it more again in 2021 as we go back into lockdown again. The first thing to mention is that it came extremely well-packed, with large polystyrene blocks protecting the main unit and the parts to attach. Everything was in pristine condition, with no dents or scratches. Putting it together took an hour or so, but I deliberately took it a little slowly to make sure I didn't mess anything up! With the pedals, like on a bike, one side screws in clockwise and one screws in counter-clockwise so make sure to refer to the instructions as there's a 'left' and 'right' bolt & nut set that must be used in the correct sides. Once constructed, the unit is solid but light to move and you can wheel it around easily when you want to move it. It carries me (16+ stone) with no creaks and crunches - apart from the ones my body makes. The mechanism is almost undetectable to the ear, as you'll be able to (not) hear in my video, and the movement of the arms/legs is smooth - whether you're sitting or standing. The resistance can be adjusted from levels 1-16 and the LCD display auto switches on/off when the machine is moving/stops. The 'phone holder' is also big enough for my iPad, which means that I can watch things on catch-up or fire up YouTube and put on a cycling video to keep me occupied while I'm working out. Great machine for home use.

Great workout
After having this for a few days now i can definitely tell you it's a workout and a half.I originally had this setup on a really low setting so that i could workout whilst watching TV, it was reasonably relaxing and i still got a good 30 minute routine going, then last night i turned up the magnetic control and increased the resistance, this thing got my legs working really hard and felt like i had been lifting weights on my legs for the last hour.I regularly do walks of over 2hrs and this is a massive increase on even the biggest hills i tend to walk up (or even climb sometimes)When on a low setting i tend to use the seat to stay comfortable, but on the highest setting only the standing up position and a lot of puffing and panting will suffice.

A versatile cross trainer which is rock steady and smooth.
I found this elliptical cross trainer fairly easy to assemble. Just remember only to fully tighten everything at the last second. Once done, it was extremely sturdy with no signs of wobbling whatsoever. No slippage from the feet and using it is reasonably quiet. One thing I would say is make sure it's on a flat surface. It can be moved around easily as the front legs have little wheels on them. I like how the seat is fully adjustable both vertically and horizontally and can be tightened to my desired position; great for a psuedo spin session. The handles are of sound quality and are spongy yet hard. Didn't notice my hands sweating at all or slipping down. There is a wide range of resistance levels so I can make it more difficult if I want to. The lcd display between the handles is easy to read even while exercising and has great features, some of which are mentioned in the listing. I find it very easy to navigate. This is a great addition to our keep fit room and we are glad we purchased it. Recommended.

Excellent product BURT has gone up £100 since Oct 2020!!
I have used this for a few days quite extensively. It is a far better product that this replaces (even though the last one did over 100k miles). It is deceptively quiet. The magnet is a little slow on the adjustment, but that is similar to the belt form. I am absolutely delighted with how easy it was to put together and use. I'd like the seat to be a bit higher, for cycling it is a bit low (I'm 5' 11") and the company do not make a longer seating shaft. As I do mainly running on it, it's not the end of the world. And the manufacturer has been very fair about the shortfall; Still HappyA week on. This is silent and flaming awesome. I added a bit more grease to the external bearing bolts. Interestingly the magnet uses the wheel to generate electric, so it's light at first then gets heavier. Also a good move to easy you in. LOVE THISI have a great deal of confidence in this product. The size of the model in the picture is very deceptive. The edited photograph is a joke. The model in the picture is 70% or normal making the machine look massive. It's not, but I'm not going to mark them down for some pretty poor image production. The device is what I like and it works well. NB - there is a 1* rating for a grinding sound on a setting over 11. On mine - max setting is as silent as 1
