Second time's a charm!
The first set I ordered had a bad feedback sound. I knew going in that when something says refurbished, you're taking a chance. But after doing all of my research, I came to realize this discontinued headset was highly rated and a steal at this price. Well I am glad I took the second chance. The first set was sent back for a full refund without a hitch. The second set works like a charm. Surround sound is exactly what the doctor ordered for FPS games. If your looking for a budget headset that is packed with features, you won't find a better deal than this!

Great Deal, Work incredibly well
Great Deal, Work incredibly well, sound amazon, very easy to set up, mic works prefect, the completely wireless set up is unbelievably nice, and they have a surprisingly good range, (I'll be upstairs getting a drink and they still come through prefect.) Only downside like some other reviews said they don't get all that loud, Plenty loud enough for me but I could see if you want to use them to music or like very loud game play maybe look else where.

I am very happy with this headset
I am very happy with this headset. It is my first Turtle Beach. It was a good deal to get certified refurbished too and works well. After about 25 days it stopped working properly. I followed the literature that was in my packaging to contact Turtle Beach directly. They replied promptly in 1 business day. They provided me with technical troubleshooting steps to help me reset, and update my headset and receiver. I Was skeptical at first, because the power button wasn't even working. However, I followed their steps and it reset and updated everything properly. I had one issue with the Ear Force Audio Hub software telling me there was an error and it didn't update correctly. I hit "update driver" in the bottom right hand corner and it updated quickly and resolved the issue. I heard a crackling noise when I started to use it after the update, as some others have mentioned. I powered down the headset and then turned it back on. The crackling was gone. People say I am heard crystal clear on xbox and I also use it with the provided cord to plug into my phone and laptop for music. The wireless on xbox is amazing. I can get up and still talk to my group. I highly recommend this product. Be sure to contact Turtle Beach for technical assistance before saying it is not working.

Great headset
Great headset, sound is good and no one has problems hearing me. Had it on for 2 hours and my head felt fine. Easy to set up. Would recommend to anyone who wants wireless with great sound. Update: battery is a getting to go out which is understandable, if anybody is interested in this I would recommend waiting til sept 2017, turtle beach is releasing the 600x $100 and 700x $150, wire free all together basically connects like the Xbox controller through Bluetooth

Great sound but....
Great sound easy connection but they are extremely stiff and start to give me a headache within minutes of putting them on, i wear a medium hat n these are perfect size, just very stiff, i am returning them soon and buying the 800x if those do the same im going back to the xo7 which btw fit perfectly n didn't give me a headache, but they are wired to controller

Sounds great, very comfortable
Sounds great, very comfortable. Plug and play without issues. I like that you can turn off the mic monitor with this one vs the 420x. I constantly had a 2 second delay and would be trying to talk over myself.

they are great. The weight is awesome
The only thing I miss about these, is that the mute button is gone from my hand area. Other than that, they are great.The weight is awesome, compared to my last set that left me with a splitting headache they were so heavy.

Almost perfect
My package came in today and I can say everything works great, headset looks brand new dosent even look like its refurbished, i am loving it so far, the sound is amazing and the only reason why I didn't give it that 5th star is because my package arrived a day late then expected when I ordered one day shipping but overall I recommend this product great price for a refurbished headset(also go on google and look for the preset reference sheet it should let you know all about the surround system modes and presets)
