Carved Wooden Ma'amoul Middle Eastern Cookie Mold

I made date filled ma'aoul date cookies for the first time-- a great adventure into the tastes of the Arab culinary world of orange and rose blossom waters, mahlab, such wonderful and new flavors. This wooden tool worked great (very lightly dusted with flour) and turned out a beautiful shaped cookie. Highly recommended.

Very roughly cut/carved. I hope my dad can clean it up and make it look better and smooth it up so it will release cleanly. Not real useable as it arrived.

Was way too small for a filled cookie!

This mold is made of a substantial block of wood, and mostly well-made, but the quality of the carving is significantly coarser than what is pictured. I ordered the nut version, which is currently no longer available, cannot speak to the other shapes.
