Q: Why does it pill/peel off when I put my powder foundation on? I tried using it with 2 different moisturizers and without anything after washing.

Two possible reasons, maybe you are putting it on too thick, or not letting it dry long enough.

Reading the ingredients list, dimethicone is the 6th ingredient — it is silicone. Although it is generally safe for use on the skin, as silicones come from natural sources, the chemical engineering that goes into creating them makes them harmful to the environment. Silicones sit on the skin and hair rather than sinking in. This means that when someone removes them, they wash down the drain. From here, they enter the water system, and eventually, rivers and oceans. In small amounts, this does not have a substantial impact. However, the widespread use of silicone-based cosmetics is causing concern among environmental scientists. That’s why “clean” makeup brands tout when they are silicone-free.

Q: Is this primer silicone-based or water-based? Can it go with water-based foundations?

This primer is silicone-based so, I suggest a silicone based foundation as well. This is because some silicone primers create a barrier that will not allow a water based foundation to set properly on the skin.

Q: How does this “blur?” Also how does it help with under eye lines and foundation? Is it tacky to touch after applies? Thanks!

The product blurs any scars, uneven surfaces, reduces pores to give you a clear uniform look to your skin. I don’t use it for under eye lines as the texture of the foundation is sturdier than you need for under eye discoloration or lines. This product will make you look younger and give your skin a smooth uniform look. I’ve tried all products to reduce pores and this is it for me.
