Comes with no blades

This is a good quality product and is well made. It's sturdy and has a solid feel. It wasn't clear from the description that the razor only holds single sided blades. Most blades are double sided. I've bought double sided blades and they're designed to be split easily (with care!). I found fitting the blade very fiddly at first as the raised 'dimples' that hold the blade are quite small. However, with practice this became easier. Once fitted it gives a good feel and blade stays in place.

Absolutely great, I’m very happy with it. Looks and feels good, it’s quite heavy and feels much more expensive than it is. Good ergonomics. I tested the blade on my BESS sharpness tester, it came out 34 grams, 50 is a typical razor blade. I always shave with a regular cutthroat razor that I sharpen, hone and strop myself, but sometimes I don’t have the time for that. So this is a perfect supplement I think.
