Great light, terrible design. The achilles heel of all lights designed like this one is the battery pack case. The straps attach to the case with plastic retainers. Drop it from 3 feet and those retainers break. I have had two lights with this design, two different manufacturers, and both broke at those retainers thus rendering the light useless because the straps cannot be reattached.Wish manufacturers would actually think through their products. Why produce a great light with a problem like this? Looking to buy a new headlamp which is designed better.

Just received this headlamp and I'm really impressed!! I bought it for my husband and he really likes it. The straps are very comfortable but do not slide around (and also dont get stuck in hair, which is awesome). I usually have a hard time finding headlamps that will stay put because they are made for mens heads and when I tighten them down they all want to slide off the back of my head, get snagged in my hair and hang there until I can finally get a free hand to untangle the %#$@ thing. This headlamp is like magical. I had given up finding one that works for me and just decided I was a freak of nature that had a weird head shape. It fits my husband's head and is very stable and comfortable. The beam is very clear and is a nice real life color. The strobe would certainly disorient anyone. Seriously, I had no idea how handy a headlamp is!!! No more juggling a flashlight from one hand to another. I love it and I'm ordering one for myself!!

Great light. Can be hot on the head in summer time especially if your in an attic. For me the charge doesnt last long and i find my self charging every day. Atleast i dont have to buy batteries. 5 stars. Wish the light lasted longer. It does have high and low. So maybe low will last longer but i prefer the high setting

I bought this for walking our dogs at night, and it serves that purpose perfectly. It is reasonably lightweight, the straps adjust easily, the light can be repositioned up and down, and it is rechargeable instead of using up expensive batteries. We live in a dark-skies city in Arizona, and the evenings are very dark; on high this light is plenty bright enough for walking safely.

3rd time I used this item I smelled smoke! Yanked the thing off and the rear lens was melting. Pulled the batteries out as quick as possible. Received a refund.

Works well and fits nicely. Used for herping and it stays put on head during activity. I ordered spare batteries to ensure didn't run out of power. Batteries are rechargable using plug-in adapter.

Nice bright light,lasted 60 seconds,back red indicator still lit,bulb must have burnt out.No problem sending for refund.

This is the best headlamp ever! I live in Arizona. Due to the daytime heat, I must walk my dog at night. I need broad and focused illumination so I don't step on a rattlesnake or get ambushed by coyotes. This headlamp does it for me.
