Given I read the reviews on what a challenge it was to install prepped me for the worst, and I'm glad I was ready. It is worth it, but unless you hire a pro, be sure to install it with someone you get along well with and plan on a couple of hours. First, I was lucky enough to get all parts in one piece. No issues with broken glass pieces. Very well packaged, but sinker pieces were cheap. Maybe have some on hand that don't break easily. They are key to make sure it's mounted well. Getting the brace and drum mounted to the ceiling was difficult, and the instructions are horrible, so you have to get creative and think it through. We could only get 2 bolts in the small holes that connect the drum to the lighting board, so make sure your ceiling X brace is well mounted (that's where good sinkers come in.) My room is 380 sf and its well lit in our MBR. If you go in knowing it's a challenge for the lay person(s), you won't regret it. It's not for the faint of heart to install, but it's very pretty both on and off.

This is the worst product I can remember buying. It was the most time consuming, frustrating, horrible quality light I have ever installed. The instructions are useless. the metal is 1/16" sheet metal, the wire nuts are too small, the crystals come in 60 pieces you have to build then attach, The base plate screws slide in their slots and disallow you to mount the fixture without taking it on and off to measure and adjust the moving screws. They have a lock nut but it doesn't lock the screw in place. Waste of time and waste of money. I kid you not, THE WORST PRODUCT IVE EVER PUrCHASED ON AMAZON. Im getting my money back because I could buy a similar quality light at Lowes' for about 45 dollars. I hate this product

Beautiful fixture but time consuming to install. Instructions suck and do not help. Tip: put shade on the metal base that has electrical components before wiring and attaching to bracket that holds fixture. Putting crystals was easy but time consuming.

Looks nice but a little different than the photos. A pain to install, but worth it after it's up. Three stars because many crystals were broken when I received it. Poor packaging.

Since others said it was pretty, I thought it would be worth the struggle to get it put up.It was a struggle. Getting the 2 layers of plastic off the base took 1/2 hour. A peel off cardboard would of been a better option since the plastic was shrink wrapped around every light bulb base, and right to the outer edge and does not peel loose without scoring it. It was boxed good but even though it said it was prime shipping, it did not come in 2 days with my prime shipping it was ordered Thurs. and did not come Sat, it came Tues. by ups.

It was a bit of a pain in the butt to install, but it is so beautiful. We have it in our bedroom and we have a dimmer. We bought 40 watt bulbs for it. I love how it looks, how it ties the room together and how pretty it with the dimmer option.

Absolutely gorgeous! Everything was packaged securely, nothing broken (even had a few extra crystals as backups). Contractor had no problem installing. The dangling crystals are a little tedious to put up... But nothing super challenging. The light reflects through the shade leaving a cool pattern on the ceiling.

It is a beautiful light. It works well in the guest bedroom and have had many compliments on it. I thought it was a great buy and it looks great. The crystals took a little time to install. Not hard at all, but if you have hung crystals anywhere, you know they require patience.
