I got this just to use with my Nexus 5 phone. I am new in the selfie world so I don’t have many similar products to compare it to.It had a lot of features for the price. It has the extendable stick, which goes to almost 4 feet. The stick stays locked in the length you choose. I tried the Bluetooth feature and I was able to take a picture from about 3 feet away. The octopus tripod was the part I was most excited about, but it turned out to be not as stable as I thought it would be. If the stick isn’t extended it works well, but extended it becomes wobbly. The biggest issue I had was the phone clamp. It’s very strong, but so shallow my phone slipped out.I think for the price it’s a good starter. I would only recommend it to newbies on a budget.

I just got this in the mail and set it up. The directions were printed on the box but they were rather vague and it took me a while to figure out where to put the battery (you have to take off the silicon cover of the camera button and slip it in). Other than that it seems to work fairly well. You do have to already have the camera open and facing the direction you want before pressing the button but that's not too much of a hassle. As other reviewers have pointed out, the case is useless and is not long enough for the selfie stick even when collapsed. The button is white and does stand out a bit against the black of the handle but it's not a big deal. Seems like a decent investment!

I saw several of 1 star saying that it's a terrible tripod. This product is advertised as MONOPOD, not tripod.Tripod has three legs to stand alone. Monopod has only 1 leg and the shotter has to hold the camera (phone).Monopod is just to give some more stability when taking picture, and it's not for stand alone.So, I think it's NOT FAIR for this product to judge as a tripod.This is a good selfie stick and also with long lockable rod, it's a good monopod, too.The only thing I don't like is the phone holder.It would be better if it can hold a little wider phone, and holding mechanism is not the spring and it's a fastner with thread with screw(?).As this holder is using spring type, I worry that it may lose the tightness with repeated usage.

The stick looks nice and feels sturdy but it came with almost no directions (I had to look at the Amazon pictures to figure out where the screws went) and the nut at the top fell out the first time I tried screwing in the handle. The handle will keep it in place as long as the handle is in so it still works but that just seems so lazy to me. I could tell there was barely any glue keeping it in place.
